I recorded this one to a dimming flashlight on the 25th after a windstorm took out my power. I couldn't see the lyrics anymore so I ad libbed and hummed the rest out. My recording device is battery operated, which is cool.

A little scratch track from a few months ago. A song about the trials and tribulations of being 11 years old. Watching Six Million Dollar Man, dodging bullies and pretending our bicycles were Harleys.

Finally getting to this song Mark. Are you teh man or what? This is really deadly. I find this to be a very serious song, killer. I love the lyrics, the part about the doggies in heaven, thats the deal. Its as real as it gets. Real, real real. Great song Mark.

:D There's always something to eat right there in the woods, where Mother Nature intended it to be. Just stay away from the mushrooms....

Second listening. Still like it. I've never been an eleven year old boy, but I have two boys, so I think I've seen them in this moment. Love when the guitar comes in. Love the vocals, too.
Wish I could write songs like this when I'm drunk. Hmmm... maybe I need to start drinking more. Excellent acoustic jam. This one has a sort of Adam Sandler feel to it. I think it's a combination of your voice and the lyrics. Well done!
Coolest song I ever heard. And to think that you nailed it on the first take! I was laughing through-out the song (well, except the part about your dog getting the blue tongue - I almost cried at that part).
This is probably the darkest song I've ever done, at least as far as lyrical tone goes. Sometimes life just doesn't seem worth the effort. Then I look at my lovely bride and realize that it is.

Last track for RPM 2010, and by far my favorite of the batch…
A heartbroken man wonders where his lover has gone in this epic synth explosion.
Lyrics:
I got a letter
In the mail
From my lover
Well I don't know where she went
And I must find her, find her
I have found her
She was fine
But my…
Emotions get the best of me sometimes and this is what comes of it....
Gotta pour out my heart.
i loved you i did
but i had to let you go
and i chose again and again
to let it die
i died again and again
a love so strong
a pain so…
Post RPM jammin'. I don't feel much like cleaning up after RPM. Not yet anyway. I think my little Casio took a beaten and went out of tune. I did this arrangement with just the Casio, guitars and
harmonica, hence the annoying piano and strings…
I mostly wanted to make music with a funky clav line I'd come up with, so this is it. For the voiceover, I unabashedly used an awesome monologue by Ken Nordine.
This is track 8 of 8 from my RPM project, 222: Improvisations for 6 Instruments. I recorded an 8:38 improvisation on six instruments, and then deconstructed it into 8 separate tracks featuring subsets of those instruments. This is the track that…
I love this - A groove starts, we are thrown into an abyss of asymptotic dissonance and then gradually pulled back out before it's too late...
Awesome ride!

Drunken loser... story of my life... awesome riffs and chord progressions... love the singing and the story.....
Like your style! Sorry you felt so rubbish, but turning it in to a song (and this is the coolest song I ever heard) rocks.

Oh, and thanks for the Dave Mustaine comment. I told Geir that the other day - He was like "Dave who?". Geir's from Norway! :)
I agree what the fellas said - Fantastic track!
This grooves out, and the vox exude a nice vibe similar to Poe or Lori Carson. I think so, anyway. Cool song.
