Haaa! I love the concept! The music fits perfect with the pondering of steel plates w/ small gussets and 3/8" holes....I deal with that jargon myself....great tune.

My only musical Christmas present. Tharek(Osckilo) sent me a wonderful Spanish/Arab sounding guitar track. All I had to do was sing. Sometimes that is the biggest treat of all, and I took full advantage of it. Thanks, bro!!
All done on the…
The "Ahhhhhs" (Sleeping with the Ghost)- it's just patience, close mic-ing and using your "head voice" (try and sing as much like a girl as you can lol). And then for "harder" sounds, "wail" at it.
Lots of voices with uniform performances produce "smooth" and "rich"; less and varied performances (as in not the same everytime) produce sharper sounds. Mix the two up as necessary in layers.
Also think about recording the "breath" in the notes as well.
You're actually getting VERY close to it with the vox on here - think about using different tones of voice and it will all become clear :)
Also there's a bunch of EQing tricks - a cut at 3K (Q 1.0) on the bvox will increase the breathy, soft sound (and keep them out of the way of the lead).
I'm not on top of it as usual, guys. But I did manage to let Greg Brady out of my basement and set him free. This is his testimonial regarding the incident. I hope he can forgive me.

This is fab too.
Actually, I don't think I've listened to anything of yours since mebbe a year or so back on songcrafters. Well, I'll be back later and check it all out.
Actually, same here - hadn't clicked that button Follow button on yours either - fixed now!
Might as well listen to this again while I'm doing it lol
That chorus is brilliant. The backing vox, and then those descending chords at the end of it.
Back for another slice... and this is even better than I thought... but I've already clicked fave... typical
Tie the woman to the chair, stick the headphones on her and make her listen (that's what I do lol)
The other night a few of Elvis's friends came over to see him and the thetworegs were listening in by the ventilation shaft from the cellar and they took a liking to a jam that was happening with a man called Diamond Neil doing the Vocals. This…
I got me a new Cajon.
This is the first time recorded it (or played it for more than 30 seconds to be honest. My son keeps telling me to be quiet, then jumps on to it himself... ).

I played a pretty random arpeggio which I arranged into 3 versions of medium notes, long notes, and short notes followed by a gap. I cloned these version and transposed them up and down one octave respectively…

"High Life" is a musical genre that originated in Ghana in the 1900s and spread to Sierra Leone, Nigeria and other West African countries by 1920. My friends from that part of the world consider this be the "go-to" rhythm for just about anything…
I was thinking of old times and remembered, very fondly, my roommate walking in on us while we stood around with headphones and serious looks on our faces screaming monkey sounds into the microphone. I'm positive that the look on my roommate's…
This is one of my favorite Morphine songs. I can't compare to the original, but it's a song I've always loved, and I think it suits my style... if I have one. :) Raw, no mixing, no effects.
When I stepped into that night I felt at home for the very first time in a long, long time. When I stepped into that street I felt complete for the very first time in a long, long time. I didn't wonder where you'd been all day. Or maybe I did…
I resorted to some unmarked old CDRs in the car today on my way to and from my Dad's (I brought him a new laptop) and found one of the earlier collaborations between Norm and myself.

This was way too short! Fabulous soundscape you guys painted. I think it should at least segue into something.

You're just kidding yourself if you thought I could resist the chance to add a bit of percussion to this wonderful song by Osckilo & Launched. I used Paiste Sound Discs to create a 3vs.4 polyrhythm against the delightful underlying 4/4 Spanish…
13 minutes! Fail! I recommend you augment your self a bit (with a glass or three of red wine or whatever floats your boat) and dim the lights, lay on the floor with your eyes closed where you can feel the bass rumble and get ready to be my passenger…
No black no white
No dark no light
No big no small
You want it all
You go so far, you leave behind
The things you like, you’ll miss them all
On moving sands, you don’t sink
You fly so high, we’re you gonna land?
Everything, everything that…
