Haaa! I love the concept! The music fits perfect with the pondering of steel plates w/ small gussets and 3/8" holes....I deal with that jargon myself....great tune.
With my buddy Tod's killer drum track! Miss all you guys, I can't keep up...
Created on the Boss Micro BR.

My only musical Christmas present. Tharek(Osckilo) sent me a wonderful Spanish/Arab sounding guitar track. All I had to do was sing. Sometimes that is the biggest treat of all, and I took full advantage of it. Thanks, bro!!
All done on the…
The "Ahhhhhs" (Sleeping with the Ghost)- it's just patience, close mic-ing and using your "head voice" (try and sing as much like a girl as you can lol). And then for "harder" sounds, "wail" at it.
Lots of voices with uniform performances produce "smooth" and "rich"; less and varied performances (as in not the same everytime) produce sharper sounds. Mix the two up as necessary in layers.
Also think about recording the "breath" in the notes as well.
You're actually getting VERY close to it with the vox on here - think about using different tones of voice and it will all become clear :)
Also there's a bunch of EQing tricks - a cut at 3K (Q 1.0) on the bvox will increase the breathy, soft sound (and keep them out of the way of the lead).
I'm not on top of it as usual, guys. But I did manage to let Greg Brady out of my basement and set him free. This is his testimonial regarding the incident. I hope he can forgive me.

Now, you see what you miss when someone isn't "followed"? lol
This is fab too.
Actually, I don't think I've listened to anything of yours since mebbe a year or so back on songcrafters. Well, I'll be back later and check it all out.
Actually, same here - hadn't clicked that button Follow button on yours either - fixed now!
Might as well listen to this again while I'm doing it lol
That chorus is brilliant. The backing vox, and then those descending chords at the end of it.
Back for another slice... and this is even better than I thought... but I've already clicked fave... typical
Tie the woman to the chair, stick the headphones on her and make her listen (that's what I do lol)
Here's a new one. Well, a new old one, actually... And a bit different than the last one!
Something old, something new, something borrowed, and, er, something blue...

**Nobody Loves You - A A J Russe**
Nobody loves you
Like you…
Yes, I love it. The subtle/strong cadences switch around enough to easily glide through 4+ minutes. Well done with that - I'm inspired to try something lengthy that doesn't sound like it has filler in it.
The heart of the song's meaning kept you from hitting the delete button - That's what makes me like it even more!
DREAMING
Inside the dream I'm drowning
I struggle for the shore
I'm swimming 'neath the surface
I'm sinking ever more
While Davy Jones is laughing
And Neptune scoffs at me
I'm swimming on with purpose
I'm frantic to be free

There's some harmonic thing going on in the background that is so delicious I'm on my second listen because of it. A great tune, love that panned electric picking, so sweet. Wicked vocals, must have listened to this five times by now, way too short!
That distorted bass riff is wicked glue man! The blues runs are quite a treat too - And now all I can think about is the mailman we have. I just know he's doing something crazy after work :)
Pink Floyd - Echoes (Waters, Wright, Mason, Gilmour)
Overhead the albatross
Hangs motionless upon the air
And deep beneath the rolling waves
In labyrinths of coral caves
An echo of a distant time
Comes willowing across the sand

Yes, well done to both of you! Bethan, I just love the vocal presentation - Haven't heard you in a while and the less reverb offering is outstanding!
And Paul, yeah you got it too bro :)

Happy Sunday Alonetoner's.
I wrote this song yesterday as I had some recent events to ponder.... I hope you like it. Trying for a bit of a bluesy feel. If you'd like to download it and add some background blues bass or guitar, or harmonies…
Another wacky production from the stretchy, bouncy, and elastic world of Rubber. Special thanks to Mark (Launched) for writing this one for us.
We had a whole bunch of fun with this song and you will too.
Enjoy!

Yes, this is my bag. Love the vibe, very cool. Sounds like something you'd hear in Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul, House, etc. I'm impressed!

Then it switches to the perfect world - Love it!
Modern Neil - Awesome!!

I'm all smiles!

I see this is older, haven't had a chance to get on here much but I'm blown away by the vocals. I love it.
I'm really digging your RPM stuff. Think I'll just play your thread right through - Well done man!
Yes! Love it Alex - Simple and powerful right to the very end. I really enjoyed the possible/improbable lyrics and singing with the falsetto.
Haven't been on much lately, but so glad I caught this! A collaboration at its best right here - Love it!
