Great! Get a delay, reverb, and loop pedal, and begin some guitar noodle work... These are not songs, not even close, so personally I would make some self assessment, if I was you.

The last track that I'm going to upload for a while. I will be re-recording a few songs to release a LP under my own name. Hopefully it'll be good :)
This one is another exploration using loops and delays. I hope you like it!

I had a bit of a dry spell with writing new music but today I have decided to break it.
This is loosely based on another song of mine, titled Swell.
I hope you enjoy this.

I wanted to see what I could do to the guitar to make it sound as a guitar as little as possible.
I think its a very interesting experiment in sound. I hope you like it.

Just playing around with my looper again. You can probably tell I love that thing.
I wanted to build up the tension and the harmony using overlapping layers of notes with basically the same rhythm.. so that the whole piece builds up and up and…
thanks guys :) @jarvis, I agree.. I think I may have waited a bit long with the alternate theme.
Although, I believe that the constant variation in the harmony and rhythm can justify the lack of variation in the theme, because the interest of the listener would be held by the variation in the harmony and rhythm. Much like Reich's Music for 18 musicians.

A nice 'build up' track....I'm sure there is a poncey name for the style and some very accomplished playing ,but it takes a little too long to get variation in the theme.Perhaps you could have brought the melody part in earlier....don't get me wrong it is a good sound but that would be my positive crit....or obbo. Cheers Jarvo.
Its a song that was inspired by a dream I had. In fact.. it was the soundtrack to the dream. The ending is purposely left with a feeling of being not finished, as I can't remember how the dream ended.
I hope you all like it :)

LYRICS
A cool wind brings the fall
And the season starts to change.
Outside the sky's steel grey.
Inside my heart is too.
And I don't know how to…
very nice track, however, im not sure about its length. It started getting a bit stale around the 3 minute mark.
I think the voices other than the main one should be a bit more visible, that way you would be much more able to control the dynamics and counterpoint of the melody.
Overall however, I very much enjoyed it :)
just finished this one, represents a slightly new direction i am taking i think.
i am particuarly proud of the polyrhythmic sound i achieved. i was worried it mite become too cluttered (at the beginning) but i think i achieved clarity.
*totally rough
absolutely no clue what to do with this. i figured if i released it, maybe it would garner some good ideas of how to continue the song and also just force me to have it on my mind in an attempt to motivate me to finish it.
This song was inspired by the heavy rains of the past two days, and my wife and I biding our time waiting for them to subside a bit so we could leave the house. The guitar is my old Alvarez classical with a microphone, then run through my RP350…

Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment

I tried to utilize the swelling of sound that can be created with a guitar to re-create the atmosphere around me (its been rainy all day, with some thunder in the background). This piece is semi improvisational, in that none of it was planned…
