Bit of a waltz.
Everything I know about dancing I learned from watching.
This is my piano debut.
Bethan deserves some of the blame for this one somehow. Thanks.
Nice rhythm! BTW, I've found a perfect way to get that "Slightly Intoxicated" sound...but it involves drinking. It's a great warmup for the "Severely Intoxicated" sound, though!

This would be on 20,000 listens by now if all the CD listens in my living room counted when my tutu'ed baby girls say they want "mosh-all folk music" so they can dance (enjoying this mostly when being watched).
I can completely appreciate this tune, not just because its for the RPM challenge, but also because the message is an important one that I feel more people should hear and share. Very fun track!
Written and recorded as part of our family RPM project this year. :-D
13 year old Jasmine on vocals and ukulele.
We wrote and recorded 10 songs under the name Cattica. It was just the best month of lockdown imaginable.
One more instrumental before I move on to the vocals...
I came up with this riff one hazy night when I was 19. I'm in my 30s now, and rather more sober, but I still like playing this. It felt good to finally flesh it out.
Another one for the RPM2011 pile. Vocals are a bit shonky so apologies for that. If you don't like the start I would give the ending a try. If you don't like that either, I'm sorry to have wasted your time. The subject matter's self-explanatory…
My take on Gumbo's Keep Your Eye On The Spot, one of many excellent tracks from his RPM2011 album 'Cat's Moustache'. It's something of a departure from the original, though I was trying to retain an element of the gospel so hopefully its soul…
Final version
it needs a fiddle but it has a mandolin, a chicken banjo and some excellent backing vocalists

I've played in such a cafe, a long time ago, for a meal/drink, thru the night. Surreal it was; second life. Yeah ...
2010 RPM Challenge Track. Lyrics
The thin veneer
That thin film of fear
What have you started
And what of your dreams
they tear away
And they won't return
We won't return here
Anymore
Dont they tear away (the thin veneer…
Dang, everyone except Rob (and Laura) (and me) liked the previous version! (Cupid's Own Knife)
Only i did this with the lyrics so maybe one can be a bonus track ...
aargghh ... why didn't i write a *different* song?

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone.
I think this song has grown on me in the last few
days. I'm diggin' it. I hope you all do too. I
wanted to hurry up and get the demo out for
Valentine's Day. Finished at 3:05am. Wha whoooo!
I need to…
this is one i have to stop tweaking - six versions and i still don't get what i hear in my head
would love some crit for this one as it's doing my head in
thanks
one of those 'it was written even before i started' songs that just rolls out like magic
i tried to keep it simple so as not to destroy the vibe
first finished (if unmixed) track for RPM 2010

Hey, every guy is Fred Astaire on the dance floor. I thought so until everyone stopped laughing. Nice song. ER

Can't help but smile listening to this!
I enjoyed your RPM effort man. Great job.
So unique, so creative, so perfectly Moschell. You are one of a kind Sir.
I don't need much encouragement to sound intoxicated. Oh, wait, I usually am! The band sounds good, and so do you. ER
So is your nickname "Spuds"? Very funny song, sir. I admire your courage to do this acapella. ER
Don't know about blaming Bethan for anything, but I liked the intro. Is this a kind of Hokey Pokey in 3/4 time? Love the lyrics. Well done. ER
moschell time w00t!!

this song sounds like a lurching automobile. still running, still moving, and not caring about the sleeker cars racing by. really great.
i would just like to say that i too like potatoes. this song inspired me to make home fries last night.
Thanks, Bethan - i have tears running down my cheeks again ...
love the music on this one.. works perfectly with the vocal i reckons
When I was in Wales with Tess during RPM, we were standing around the breakfast bar one evening, reciting your Barfight, such fun.
Tell you what Dude this is still flawlessly funny, 12 months on.
