I thought the hand claps were a bit weird but I wasn't running this dog and pony show. See more notes under "red cowboy" and "I left my toothbrush in St. Louis".
about a circus that self destructs and the damage left in it's wake. Yes, it's a weird and/or dark subject but as the lyrics are unintelligible it probably won't upset anybody.
When I put these last 3 songs on itunes, my computer did something weird. It told me that these songs were already out there on the internet somewhere. So, in order not to infringe on any copyright laws, I would like to assure everyone that NONE…

red cowboy and hot burrito were recordings done for a friend of mine who wanted to check out his new (old) drum machine. Both drum parts are constructed from prerecorded beats (from presets or previous owner, I don't know) and have 4-5 bass tracks…

this couldnt be more kick ass if it actually jumped out from the laptop and booted me. Its like the theme to the most deranged cop show ever. And it kinda makes me feel like doing something bad. I'm off to the park to kick pigeons.

I hadn't read the "about" when I listened to this the other day. Similar story: that's how the initial track for gostmieuzakmusturd was recorded. I just woke up one morning and there was a really weird, swirling toilet bowl-like bass track on the tascam.
"Markets For Fleas and Stocks of TVs" is the first part of Act Two of a space rock piece I am working on. The story may change, but this if you'd like to know what this piece is "about" at this moment then read on. It is meant to be a ballet…
It is created between the cracks. it is amplified. if you listen, you feel the space between time. it is created in a life without time. caught in a shadow of light. nothing can exist here. but this does. it is beautiful. it is ephemeral. it is gone.
Hi Mud Octave, this is a homemade drum set that rapidly and constantly mutated with new additions, mostly contraptions made of metal. Sadly, it is now gone. I currently have a really bad, beat-the-hell-out-of kit. Also, there is a machine, A Boss DR660. I usually use both. I'm not a terribly proficient drummer so the machine keeps me on track (hopefully).
Liz wrote the music, MK wrote the words. Liz plays the guitar and sings it. Before it had lyrics, this song was known as "Emotionally Gay." Since Liz's electric guitar is out of commission at the moment, she recorded it on her acoustic. Eventually…
Spaghetti Party was our first foray into recording a complete song. MK came up with the idea of writing a song about her friend/co-worker who has "spaghetti parties" which involve him lying on his back on a couch in the basement by himself shoveling…

Shreya's composition, a tale of love and death that is also perhaps a sly reference to the most famous proponent of the ontological argument for you-know-who. This is the dreamy guitar version, and there is also a classical-sounding piano version…
This was the first song Shreya played me, and she said it came to her in a dream, and I believe it. It's flooring, and her vocals/acoustic guitar are relatively untouched. I added the other virtual instruments, and if you listen carefully, you…
This sounds better everytime I hear it. Which is at least 3x now. So now, this song, which I liked the first time i heard it, now I like it 3X better (or more).Do you smell something?
this is a song by my niece Clara. She's 4. the lalalala's are Noah's (6) contribution.
Recorded Christmas day 2008.

I am very happy hearing this! Happy new year! Here is something that really works: whatever comes out of someone's mouth, believe with all of your essence that whatever they are saying is being said with the best of intentions. Lets all put out our absolute best. Love to all.
