2010 24 hour challenge. Record a 24 minute song in less then 24 hours.
Work has been so crazy music has been taking a back seat. I might have to try this concept again to get anything done on the creative side of things. :)

Hats off to you if you composed, performed and arranged this piece in 24 hrs!. Some transitions might be a little iffy (03:29 for instance) but the whole track is really good, and while varying a lot, it stays consistent all the way; some parts are kicking serious butt (06:10+). And the whole composition is simply excellent.
Probably one of my faves of all the pieces you've posted on here. Bravo! Fav'd & Dl'd.
My wife is slowly collaging the walls of our studio with random sayings and images from magazines, artwork, photography, album art ect... so I had the idea to pull all of my lyrics for this track from the walls.

The song was really has nothing to do with Anchor Man I promise I just use the character name because I wrote this song after Baxter was kicked off the bridge in the movie. True story lol

Quadrispace is probably not a word.... but you know what. I don't care.
4 spaces, one of each base element of life. Some Captain Planet shit or whatever. I'll let you use your imagination.

This is a collab tune which was originally written by Tad Rees (aka Solo). He plays the Keyboard.synth, and I did the guitar and drums. The last half blends with his original which can be heard in completion at :

Well, I finally got my hands on a 17 note per octave electric guitar thanks for Brad Smith, a local Luthier who did a lovely conversion of a Jay Turser strat copy I bought at the local Guitar Center for $65. The guitar is nicely very bright…
Funk is my first love but a close second is disco with house right on its heels.
This track is a mix of all three...a funky disco house track. No funky guitars but I've got my fingers crossed that the groove is funky enough.
Anyway lots of synths…
YES!! I love it, once again killer time change ups, love the guitar tones on the verses, and then the quick picking going into the "chorus" of it. Killer tune man. Sweet bass line and drums as well. Have you ever heard of the NESkimo's? They are a band that does covers of original old Nintendo songs, Zelda, Metroid, ect....thier music has a very similar sound to this one. They also have some crazy time changes in their music.
Another one rebuilt after my freak SD card initialization fiasco. The excellent solo work was done by my buddy Gnasty - I love it!
This is the second part of a two part song. I'll get the other part up next hopefully.

It's been a long time since Bethesda released smash hit The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, so I thought I'd make a little something commemorating that. The song starts off note for note and finishes, then plays through again with my tweaks. I…
