This song is based on the account of a friend, who had a drunken fling with a stranger at a party and regretted it BEFORE she sobered up. The title is a reference to the 1986 movie River's Edge, and the character played by Danyi Deats.

As far as your inquiry of our influences, we’re three dudes who have all been in bands both together and otherwise since the 1980’s. Our influences are all over the place, but I’d say that pop music from the 1960’s looms large with all of us…me especially. Almost all of my tunes are straight-up attempts at capturing that groovy vibe….anything that the Wrecking Crew worked on, as well as the mop-tops.
I’m a genuine fan of your stuff, so please keep ‘em coming.
