I did the guitar and bass tracks first, then procured my 10 year olds cello for the main bass line :) I also tried my luck playing cello with a bow on this track- which was a new experience.

You see, I heard this groovy little tune on AT, then I downloaded it after about a minute because I knew I'd be looping the damn thing for about an hour straight.
Solid, solid, solid - Fantastic work!

This is an exceptionally tasty track! Just deep, multi-layered and clever!! And your cello lines are superb considering you don't play!! I mean, wow!!! They add so much... I just love this track!
PS - Bethan, I haven't had Norm yet.

The emerald green essence turns to the color of a Monarch’s chrysalis and the dripping sugar swirls into a gentle cloud. As your guitar carries me away, I smile and turn to the nonchalant fairy sitting next to me, who hands me a rather large bottle rocket.

this was originally a song about breaking through paradigms but turned into a song about a girl.

Recording some match lighting samples recently and felt compelled to put some music to it.
I put the mic up to some raw acoustic guitar. Bass and lead added with FX. Norm added percussion, making it sound waaaay better.

Enjoying a few tracks on this site with Indian flavor lately. My brothers legs were so red from slapping them to get the perc sounds in this track, I had to laugh, That alone was worth doing the song ;)
Enjoy # 92
Spicy percussion provided by Norm
It seems a lot of you record with open mics and can relate. I record 1 track at a time with usually 4 or 5 tracks. So, Im only asking for about 15 minutes of Silence...IS THIS TOO MUCH TO ASK??? Anyway, my house is so loud, I get a lot of bloopers…
I only had one song at open mic where you could have heard a pin drop, the rest of the time, they usually talk through it. It's all in the studio now when the little ladies are in bed. Ah bliss!
I went over to Reg's place the other day and he sort of scared me. He was out on his deck, pitching butts and spilling gin that he couldn't afford. He was a mess and had a crazed look in his eyes. I could tell he was ruminating again about…

A MOOCH DOWN THE BOULIVARD IN NEW YORK
I walk these city streets alone
footsteps from behind dance out the time
Murmmers of truth hang in the air
As I roam down the Boulivard
Lost within the beat, echoing from the…
I’ve thought it before, but I don’t know if I commented, best album cover of the year or right there for me. It’s cool that you actually saw the Led Zeppelin building
Thought it before, but don’t know if I commented, this album, cover photo wins and down for me. I can’t believe you actually got a pic the physical graffiti building. It looks the same!
Well guess what it was raining again and Reg was bored so he got Tom on the phone out of the workshop... god knows what he was creating in there and got him to lay down a vocal for him. Rainy days are the worst.....

Hey! nice song. Your visit to SF was supper fun, I'm glad you got more fodder for new songs! Thanks for getting me out in the city. We had at least one too many tequila drinks which was just right lol
My contribution to the Angie Fights Crime album "Sunny, Sorta..." AFC wrote the lyrics and chords, then gave me free reign to do what I wanted from there.
I tried some very out of character things with the guitar. I think they worked…
Written and recorded as part of our family RPM project this year. :-D
13 year old Jasmine on vocals and ukulele.
We wrote and recorded 10 songs under the name Cattica. It was just the best month of lockdown imaginable.
I recorded the sound samples at St Marks Basilica on the spot....the story you are about to hear is true; not even the names have changed to protect the innocent.
A collab with K.Davidsen, Dave Berry and Speed Demon (Gene) that I never put up but it's a cool tune and these guys rock so I floated it up to the cloud!
