Hi Richard, there is a contest to make microtonal demo tunes with MOTU. Selection of contestants is over and now we all must make at least 3 microtonal demonstration pieces. The Dance of the Unicorn is in a werckmeister equal beating variant. this prelude is very nice. the descending register pattern is a nice variation. I see you sneak in the left hand :-)

This is fabulous! The instruments perfectly compliment one another, in fact, they dance! And the synth voices sound great - much better than any I've found! Wonderful piece of music, beautifully performed.

I really enjoyed the listen of this album. Though I am a 'roots' americana guy myself, I love classical and probably listen to this style more than to any other. I especially love the interplay of lines which make the harmonies as opposed to chord-based pop music. Your selections very nicely fed this appreciation. Thanks for making the world a bit more beautiful, awe-inspiring and majestic.

impressions 4 min in -- i am feeling/discovering a hugely large sound scape, plenty of places to get lost in ones thoughts amongst the notes 7 Min in --very expansive (what syth is this?, are you creating the long drawn out notes on a keyboard?) 9 min in --- (not being used to writing this style myself) what sort of land marks, for timing, expression are you using/feeling when you do this? how will you know when you get there? 14 min and 1 beer into the work -- still keeps my interest, but i do wonder where we are headed 17 min --- this is definitely a track to listen to, not background ,, i begin to see where we might be headed.. overall interesting,,, i enjoyed this,,,as i have noticed of late you have a lot of multi interests/talents... lots for me to think about thanks R

dark yes,, the off beat timing and use of minors and 6ths ? cloak this old standby in a darker, sadder & less romantic side of English folklore,,, well done very interesting!
