Nice one - move over Serge Gainsbourg & Jacques Brel!
I wish I could speak French - I love Francoise Hardy, Michel Polnareff and France Gal, l but I can't understand a bloody word!
Awesome, as always. I think you guys are RPM's hidden gem. Have you ever listened to For Stars? They're one of my favorite (though now defunct) bands. Your sound is less hyper and it reminds me of their best stuff.
Love the Buster Keaton reference!
Sweet, simple, folkadelic.

Oh we could sit or stand around
Look at the stars or at the clouds
Or better yet kick off our shoes and dance around

My first completed 2013 RPM track. Thanks to Kavin for turning a simple acoustic song into what you hear today.
ONE LAST DANCE
I never got to tell you what's been on my mind
It might be just as well now that we're running out of time…
Taken from the album 'Reverse The Sun', recorded in February 2013 for the RPM Challenge.
Written and performed by Rog Hildreth.
This is an experimental one, I recorded it mostly using Android synth apps.
A 90 second song, written and recorded on the evening of 12th June 2012.
Acoustic guitar, uke, glockenspiel, bass, slide guitar, tambourine, piano, singing, bells, shaker, melodica by Andy.
After a long day at work, I wanted to do something…
Sometimes it's easier to run with the flawed routines we're familiar with than to turn over a new leaf..
Compare to "Firecracker" and "Livewire" from RPM 2010 and 2009 respectively.
This is just another middle of the road pile of trot, this time about the amazing instant classics I write, but am so protective of that I daren't let any of you hear. No one will ever hear them. Sorry, but I'm afraid this shite will just have…
A dramatisation of events from school.. hope 'Shaun' never hears this, and if he does, that he likes it in someway, and that things turned out alright in the end..
It was always rainin.
It filled him up
It summed it up
So perfectly

Day 28
Anyone else still writing songs?
this is the result of trying to listen to too many mixes in one day. Sometimes it's just easier to record something else.
Final version
Guitar, mandolin and voice.
this doesn't fit with my rpm project AT ALL so i may not use it but i like the way it came out. I recorded the music for Bethan Mathis' RPM project but she didn't have time to use it (her album is…
I'm really glad you left this on your RPM album. I think it matches more than you were initially suggesting, in fact I love how it very gently nudges the outer border of the album towards something ethereal, while still being of the same voice.
I feel like I've long been repeating myself concerning your songs: blah blah...great recreation...blah blah blah...recording is great...blah blah blah...I want to listen to this all the time...blah blah blah.

Comments on Rob and Laura's stuff
Too beautiful.
What a great sound - love the harmonies and the guitar solo is swell. I have a feeling you gus are just a little crazy.
Excellent vocal and the perfect accompaniment. Really enjoyed this track.
Nice one - move over Serge Gainsbourg & Jacques Brel! I wish I could speak French - I love Francoise Hardy, Michel Polnareff and France Gal, l but I can't understand a bloody word!
Beautiful - bittersweet.
Again, killer lyrics.
More duets, please (with cursing)!
Awesome... sounds like a song Harry Nilsson would have loved to record. "If there's one thing I know, I'm young and you're old" -wonderful!
Groovy... like crossing Ennio Morricone with Bud Shank!
You're killing me - wonderful vocals/lyrics... like a lo-fi Laura Nyro!
Great - reminiscent of the songs Lou Reed used to write for Mo Tucker to sing (no higher compliment)!
Just beautiful - says so much using so little. Again, great lyrics!

Nice work on both of these.
Love the album, congratulations to an RPM conquered.
Congrats on a great RPM victory. That is some great stuff all around.
Beautiful end to a great album. Very nice work this year, as usual.
This is great.
Great cover.
Those guitars sound so great together...what a beautiful sound you guys created here.
Great work on your RPM album this year!
Ahhhhhhhh, so lovely.
Big fan of the new songs.
Love this. Really beautiful.
Lovely.
Just listened to the whole thing. Terrific album. Great job this year!
Love it.
Love how gentle the singing is here. Really fetching track!
Just had a listen to the entire album (it's epic!) Alot of super great stuff on there. Bigtime congratulations finishing this year.
Wonderful song.
Ok, last word from me on this, as I'm sure it's getting old by now: that is one helluva great album.
