2021 50/90 song number 40.
I am not sure what I was going for with this one, but I got it… whatever it was.
Lots of sauce on this. Delays all over the place, Dotted eighth note echo tricks, panning tricks, backwards tracks, pretty much the whole kit.
This was the 48th song I started over the course of this challenge. Oddly, the 51st song has an almost identical structure. That one isn’t finished yet, but a lot of the goofy things I was doing with the lengths of the sections and the rhythm guitars ringing over two bars, and stuff like that all somehow ended up in the other song too and I didn’t realize it until I was adding the leads to this one. Oops.
All of the guitars were a Gibson Les Paul Standard 50s through a Vox AC15. The rhythm guitar tracks used an MXR uni-vibe and a Klon KTR. The leads used the KTR with a Malaise Forever Black Lives Matter into a Wampler Faux Tape Echo and a Donner Yellowfall.
