The sixth song taken from the 2016 RPM Challenge to be re-recorded in The Great 2015 Re-Recording Project. I swear that makes sense. Just trust me.
I have been saying that this round of Quarantine Tunes (the sixth and final round) is scraping the bottom of the barrel and this song is pretty much what I am talking about. It’s not bad. It’s also not good. It’s just sort of lukewarm, you know?
The lyrics were part of 2016’s theme of “there are actual people in the 21st century who believe the Earth is flat.” At the time I felt that their idiotic opinions were harmless. I definitely don’t think that anymore.
Not a lot going on with the guitar gear on this one. All of the tracks are my Les Paul Standard through my Fender Bassbreaker 15. The pedals on the rhythm tracks were an Earthquaker Devices The Depths into a Ryra the Klone. The lead used the Ryra into the boost side of a Keeley D&M Drive.
