heh, by not fading out, you snapped me right out of the trance you put me in...
Sadly for me, the tech info in the about went right over my ol' dinosaur head. But I really like the texture of that bell sound as well as the rhythmic variations (even if I do have a brain the size of a walnut).

More LoopShifted piano accompanied by Stylus RMX and Omnisphere. At over eight minutes it's perhaps a little self-indulgent but maybe it's more like punting down the river Styx than jet-skiing on a lake of fire.

I'm going through something of a dark time at the moment and it's a rare evening I actually have something tangible to show for it. Mostly it's frustration, depression, and a blanket of grey despair. Tonight was different and I can only hope that…
Didn't really grab me at first, but after about 5 minutes in 'click' and I'm loving it. I'm definitely planning on downloading a bunch of your tracks for offline headphone listening while armed with one of those funny cigarettes. ;)

Ah mes non, it appears I have mislead you. What sounds like a guitar is in fact.. a guitar. It's one of the very nice lap steel guitars from Omnisphere and I play the chords I used for the piano part which was used to create the main glitchmosphere.

Very cinematic, I love the space in it, makes me imagine a self-luminated living cave system. I'll be listening again on a nice pair of headphones later on tonight. Keep it coming! :)
A lonely, slow, tune... with a forlorn and sometimes tense distorted guitar (actually my bass). Good music to listen to as you zone out and stare into space.
Rhythmic groove with bass and "guitars". In addition to the obvious bass track, the two distorted "guitar" tracks are actually also basses, EQ'ed and altered with various effects to sound less bassy and more guitary.
Melodic, peaceful, and trance-inducing instrumental. Used a synth clav as the underlying thematic instrument, then layered a few other things on top. The "guitar" counter-melody at the end is me playing a bass in the upper registers.
A track that I put on hold for the RPM Challenge.
Of course, now I can't really remember where I was going with it... but to have used it in the challenge would have been cheating.
What I do remember was that I had just discovered and fallen…
An old time fiddle tune without the fiddle, or the tune, really, so the vocal has to carry it, and it has that lovely raw propulsion. Written and recorded in an hour.
I'm not sure if this is rockabilly or late 40s jump R'n'B. Dance music though. I had fun with the lyrics and the backing vocals.
This is now a tidied up version 18/3/09
A happy song about being left by your no-good spouse. There's a word for the attitude in this song but I can't think of it right now ...

This has been something that has been struggling to get out for a while. I finally feel comfortable enough playing it to have pressed record...
Boring technical details:
DADGAD tuning
two improvised tracks, GT-10 Studio Acoustic Guitar preset…
A one hour track start to finish - words music and all the faffing around at the end to get the levels right.
It's a ghost story. So go get your cocoa now!
And a Murder ballad and a love story (but aren't they all).
Old Conor Higgins…
That didn't stop her.
Main vocals/bleeps by Shreya, keys and backing vocals by me. Actually, my baby daughter was in my arms while I was doing those vocals and she started crying. Even though I cropped that part, I didn't use any noise reduction…
Another experiment.
Today Eos was released. In trying it out, I found 7 random synth clips in my library (not entirely random but they might as well have been). These are fed for somewhat random durations and order through 4 Eos reverbs in…

Honestly I have no idea where this came from or how.
I was messing with Omnisphere patches and came across a lovely, flutey, breathy sound that put me in mind of the scenes inside the monolith at the end of 2001. I setup a Rytme pattern to…

another one from the morning sessions...
First attempt at making something with the demo version of live 8 suite and some of the sample tutorials. Just the first third or so of a whole track really. It's the first thing I haven't wanted to delete straight away so I want to put it somewhere…
Comments on Mr Sandbags's stuff
Yeah my apologies to all listeners for not putting a fat reverb tail on this one. I wasn't thinking too hard. I might do that an re-upload it.

I love big, never ending pads. Honored to even be considered a speck in this great expanse
Very Cool! Really digging this bit around 6 minutes or so!

This is a keeper. That thing that sounds like a guitar is actually an affected piano? Very cool.
Marvellous, really, really good. :)
I can feel vacuum of space sucking the eyeballs out of my sockets even as I type this.
Yes - I love it.

Man I love your stuff. It's atmospheric, nice timbres, great beat. Hope you've got more to upload!

Love this one.
Lovely.
I'm glad you decided to release this anyway because it's lovely. I'm getting used to being eased into my day by a new track from you. Keep it up! :)
Weird and wonderful. I'm enjoying your RPM album which has been a trip so far :)
An hour well spent :)
I really love these ditty's.
Kind of the anti-blues ;-) Love it!
A nice way to slide into Monday morning.
Love it.
Strange and dark. I love it :)
Great, laid back, sound.
Have to give you much kudos for working out how to make 4 reverbs sound good :)
That was great!
Love the dreamy quality and the use of BigSeq2. How did you come up with the notion of using 4 Eos in series?
Really enjoyed this one :)
Thanks for the kind words folks :)
There is something truly awesome about a track about and from making coffee :)
I enjoyed it :)
