Fragile Moment 2
Similar in feel to the other Fragile Moment track. Mostly acoustic guitars recorded sitting in my shop on the H4N and then finished up in Cubase just this morning. September 9 09. Maybe a nice one for bedtime
Excellent. I hear three guitar tracks, a choral synth and an egg shaker? I'm teaching my slow self to do this stuff. I use an Edirol R0-9 to record and Sony's Acid Pro to edit and mix, but very little editing and mixing so far. I really like your playing. And I like that you're self publishing a lot of it.
Just having one of these at the moment Kirk. This is just beautiful.
this piece of music is beautiful!!! 5 stars on the guitar work!
I have enjoyed listening to your music! The peaceful guitar picking and chord progressions provide this listner a journey of interesting vistas!
Great sound! Relaxing stuff.
Wow!!! More Superb Guitar!!!!! Such Skill!!!! The Synth is Perfect!!!!!!! I'm A Fan!
Sublime.
awesome tune
Thank you for your lovely comments about my recent track. :) This track of yours is beautiful and soothing...and reflects the title perfectly.
Man- I want to hear your guitfiddle accompanying your wind instrument- playing these sensitive tunes. Just a thought. Best to you.
beautifull ! thanx
i'm blown away. that's great.
Thanks for the comment about Wait For Me Penelope. But It's actually sloppy... :) I have to get back to practcing the things I used to get to where it should be again. cya l8r
hey kirk, most definitely have something planned for #300... now it's just a matter of finding the time. Still awed by this one.
This is a nice one to listen to before bed. Those guitars are really beautiful. This could also be nice to wake up to. Well done!
moving,beautiful chords and sound
the guitar strings seem to bend and sway in a slow autumn breeze. the cooler winds are coming. there is a contemplative bite in the air. a face looks out the window at the dirt road. another month. still no visitor. perhaps it will be always so. 0x0
People can get lost in this music, concentrating on the performance, or they can get lost in the emotion/space created by the music, led there by the persuasive guitar. Either way, it's a very pleasant experience.
Another great one Kirk! Fantastic tone and feel!
That's nice. The recording sounds so professional. I love that guitar tone and the atmosphere of it.
Oh Kirk.
Another beauty, Kirk! I'm gonna come up there and take my guitar back and steal some of your magic :)
HOT DAMN! kirk. I'm hypnotized, amazed, and affected with awe over your mastery of guitar and melody. There is real magic in that shop, both with your instrument crafting and instrument playing. consider this one double faved.
Oh, how gorgeous! Love acoustic sounds sooo much, beautiful melody.
Great work! :) I can hear the vocals though there aren't any...
@Mannequin Races. Thanks - I was not sure about the mix- Just got sick of messing with it! The lead tone was recorded with a Rode NT1A into the Zoom H4N with an edited preset that was a vocal mic pre in combo with pretty extreme compression. I was kinda going for the sound of single line stuff on a classical guitar, but don't have one!
This is has a dark feel to it. I like the subtle voice patches. This is mixed very well. It has a nice full sound to it. Such a beautiful lead guitar tone. Are you recording this direct or what sort of mic set-up do you use? Nice build up. The shakers add a nice touch!
