Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy.
This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…
I'm tired now, and I think I'll take a few days off from RPM. I need one more tune and that shouldn't be to tough to do.
Thanks everyone,
I'll be in touch soon.

This is brilliant. I need to give this album a proper listen once I've wrapped up the challenge (nearly there!) - in fact I need to listen to loads of the finished articles.. anyone know if there will be a big page of them like last year... Su?!

Continued from Old Paint Version I............
So, I plugged in the cat eater, hit distort and it took on a whole new feel.
I added bass(finger is tore up now), more drums, and low level fuzzed up leads.

This is one of my favorites. I like the gypsy feel to it. Were you playing gypsy scales? You mix it up great.
As for the playboy mag not being yours...uh huh. suuuuure. :) Saying it wasn't yours doesn't hide the fact you had to look at it to know who old paint was. Oh..you are probably one of those who just likes the articles and comics. ;) hehe

The core of the music is heavily inspired by Joni Mitchell. Its been spinning around for years in my head so hearing this song finally recorded feels good.

UTHEMANDI's vocal track by TheTwoReg's, choice of song "BE WHAT YOU WANNA BE", choice of drums, the drums from wizard of drams "SHOTS", stretched slower, along with only the best Spanish loops added. It's only missing the Chorizo.
I'm playing with making short animated movies (about 1 minute long at the moment) using ArtMatic and Studio Artist. This is a track composed to go with one of those movies.
It uses an original violin sample from Markus Czwiertnia.
a song written about my memories of a trip to norway. and dedicated to my viking host Geir T Alfsen.
the original version was done acoustically and can be heard here.

New original from me, hot off the old wotsit.
When it was half written yesterday, I was considering binning it as a throwaway exercise - I do that quite often. But I played the songwriting demo to someone else and, er, apparently I should finish…
