Evening old boy - I've done something fairly bizarre with this track. When I first got hold of the cd, before I had acccess to the lyrics, I completely misinterpeted (and mis-heard) them. I've written down what I thought I heard, which makes the words come from the point of view of a manipulative (and probably abusive), but slightly ashamed partner. I'll let you have then sometime, for interest. (Probably the greatest insult you can ever pay a songwriter!)

it's getting hard to find these gems among all this hotmeatballs 40909029-07 rot. Luckily.. I'm dedicated and trawled through it all. Was worth it. Great track here. Right up my street. Honest, true, simple, and brilliant

Reg has left re-hab but now he has to fill those sober hours with something, so he has taken to people watching, but like everything in his life he has become addicted to it, listening in on there private conversation as he follows them, watching…
The other night a few of Elvis's friends came over to see him and the thetworegs were listening in by the ventilation shaft from the cellar and they took a liking to a jam that was happening with a man called Diamond Neil doing the Vocals. This…
i love the inside of your mind. i'm holidaying there in June. S'gonna be class. Gonna hit the rapids with Elvis on a banana boat

Reg has been dancing on the scene and started drinking again, this freedom he wanted so badly is harder than he thought. But he'll get through it.........
Jamming with a couple buddies. I screwed the lyrics up but it was fun to do. Who doesn't want to at least try an AC/DC tune?
A live recording:
Me: Vox, Bass
Joel: Guitar, Backing Vox
Chris: Drums, Backing Vox
Reg has just gotta get on gone, he wants to move out from his old lady's into reg's place where it's happening, what with Elvis in the cellar and his visiting friends jammin all night, Reg is almost living there anyway. So now he has decided to…
yeah go on I'll come round too. Your vocals are wicked. If I tried to get that level of gravel I'd huck my lungs out.. it may be worth a go though. Cheeky little bit of music there too. Love it :)
This track is from the 1986 Scartaglen album "The Middle Path". The first tune "Jezaig" was composed by Breton musician Gilles Le Bigot. The second tune is one of the "Cantigas de Santa Maria" and is attributed to King Alfonso X of Spain

I electrified my psaltery and played it in various ways in an tuning adjusted by ear. Probably some JI of some type then. I played along with some modified drum loops and ran it through effects of course.
This song was inspired from all the snowstorms we have been having this winter, another on the way tonight.....I decided to prog it out for this one....prog-rock.....lets bring it back.

This is a song about finding momentary escape from the pain of loss.. and having it interrupted by the realisation that it's the anniversary of the day it all started;
