Here we go.
This one started out one morning several weeks ago when the sun was still shining...
If it's as wet and dark as it is here, just close your eyes, I'm sure you can imagine it if you try hard enough...
Lollies, chips, and beer…
Here we go.

this is so cool ... really enjoyed the groove you got going ... great vox and slid age and that organ is the icing on the cake..
Makes me want to get out my blues harp and jam...
Here we go.

This was well worth the wait. Superb! I love the reference to what is current these days....hint hint..I like the entrance of the keys and organ at 2:42, masterful. Love it.

New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol...
I've been sat on these lyrics in some form or another for absolutely years. I first wrote them one very dark night a few years after…
I can't quite believe that I'm posting this, or that I've even recorded it. But I've played it like this sat on the sofa in the living room for many years, and I needed something to check out how to record a live "one vocal and one guitar" song…
Recorded Oct 2010.
It was meant to be a full band pop-rock song. But I started overdubbing on the original exploratory demo I'd done to work out the arrangement (with no click track). I kept coming back to it intending to start afresh... but…
Pop-rock song. Recorded 2009.
I wrote this several years earlier and rehearsed it with the last band I was in.
The recording was my first "serious" project on my Boss MBR, I was stunned that you could do something like this on a little silver…
New original from me, hot off the old wotsit.
When it was half written yesterday, I was considering binning it as a throwaway exercise - I do that quite often. But I played the songwriting demo to someone else and, er, apparently I should finish…

I like, I like this song! Great vibe, lyrics...your wife must be lovely. And the lyrics here so I can sing along confidently...great for twiddling along to on guitar too!;-)
A song about my wife. Recorded 2005.
I'd just taught myself how to play piano (badly).
I'd always wanted to be Freddie Mercury when I was younger... still got a bit of a ways to go.

I said it…

An unusual traditional tune from the first Scartaglen album way back in 1984. Going through stuff the other day and ran across the LP and couldn't even remember the tune or having recorded it. I played guitar on this track
Did the world really need a cheesy, spaghetti western version of this classic Eagles song? I'm not sure. Did I make one anyway? Yes. Yes, I did. By the way the painting is "Villa Diablo" by Downe Burns.

Brilliant!
We definitely needed this version.
I suspect that even Ian Anderson would like this take on the chords he "lent" them Eagles chappies... lol
Faved, no problem :-)
This started up while I was commenting something else... initially I was going to stop it, but something dragged me in... I was over halfway through before I realised I'd stopped typing!
Nice one, well worth a listen... it kept my attention all the way.
(I do hope I actually pressed send on the other comment - I keep forgetting to when this happens!)
Vocals: Rebecca Riss
Lyrics: Donna Devine
Drums & Horns: Ian Burrage
Bass: Andy Gupta
Piano: Steffen Offermann
Guitars: Mike Woodford
Composed, arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann
I think this was the first song that Donna and I collaborated…
Like it. I think you're right on the mix though. I'm guessing you're quite attached to the sound of the band, but could seat the vocal a lot better now.
Some stunning - and extremely musical - guitar work on this one, like it.
I often get bored with guitar instrumentals like this - NOT THIS ONE
Yeah, pretty dang cool... good stuff :-)
This is an older song and hey, you'll finally get to hear me sing badly! This was under my old name Piscean Dream so I couple of you may or may not have heard this before. Thanks for listening!
I thought I'd commented this (and others)... I'm obviously not awake yet !
Really glad you've joined up, loving your stuff.
Are those real drums? You play drums as well??!!
A loose variation of theme from movie "Ip Man" originally composed by Kenji Kawai. Modestly performed by JC Prophets band.
Ip Man was a Gradmaster of Wing Chun(southern Chinese kung-fu) and he is widely known as a Bruce Lee's SiFu(teacher…
Cover of the theme from the popular BBC television series. Recorded on Boss BR-864 December 18, 2008. All instruments and drum programming by 64Guitars.
I'm not superstitious, but ... I did not want to end the day with 13 uploaded songs. :D
Here is another old one. Not mixed as good as I think I could do it now, but it could be much worse. ;)
Music: Steffen Offermann & Tricia Dovidio

EDIT:

I finally was able to remix the song. Please listen to "Fide On The Broom Stick (Version 2012)" in my track list to compare…
This celtic folk piece is a collaboration with lyricist Donna Devine.
This is Donna's explanation:

Another goodie...
Thoroughly enjoyable listen to all of your tracks on here so far...
I'm amazed at all the different styles you take on and succeed at.
This one started while I was commenting All I Do Is Cry ... and it didn't grab me initially.
But when I started concentrating... crumbs, this excellent. Really interesting melody and chords, and boy does he navigate his way around it well.
I had to click favourite by the time it finished! Brilliant.
Lyrics: Paul Dempsey
Guitar: Billy Playle
Bass: Andy Gupta
Drums: Alex Zulaika
Composed by Steffen Offermann & Tricia Dovidio
Arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann
Ah... I heard this the other day, didn't I?
I've got two more of yours to go at the moment, but this is my personal FAVOURITE so far.
I assume it's Tricia Dovidio on the vocal again? I think I loves her voice and delivery... :-)
Vocals: Paul T. Bathen
Lyrics: Michael Taub
Bass: William Fisher
Guitars: Bill Gifford
Drums: Gerald Langefeld
Composed, arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann
I'm glad this song finally got finished. I had lost the synth draft and with it…
Like the song, love the song, but you're right, I think there's a better a mix in there - it's almost like the lead vocal dominates the track too much... try thinning him out a bit mebbe? Seems a shame to do it though, he's got such a good rich voice :-)
Vocals: Eric Savoie
Acoustic Guitar: Dan Clancy
Electric Guitars: Bobby Clohessy
Bass: Trevor Tillotson
Drums: Gerald Langenfeld
Composed by Steffen Offermann & Eric Savoie
Arranged & mixed by Steffen Offermann
Oh yeah, this is a special one.
He's an excellent lead vocalist, absolutely superb. The song stays sung when he's sung it! Not so convinced that he ought to do his own bvox based on this one though? I felt his lead wanted a different texture to go with it.
Having said that though - wow! The song, the performances, the recording... Superb :-)
Comments on Andrew Russe's stuff
Enjoying a Sunday scotch and this.
Aah, the English summer, love the groove....excuse me, I'm off on a cruise soon...no lifeboat's please !!!!!

This was well worth the wait. Superb! I love the reference to what is current these days....hint hint..I like the entrance of the keys and organ at 2:42, masterful. Love it.

Woo! Great voice, and I like where you go with your melodies.
Love it.
Among other things, your tracks are making me think of The Doors - no bad thing in my book. Like what you're doing.
Tom Baker for me! Hi there 64! Could've been a bit longer mebbe :-)
Ah! Another Tricia Dovidio vocal - yesss... Got any more? :-) Love the organ... but I'm a sucker for a hammondy tone
Yep, lovely stuff, this works as it is for me
