i like where this takes me and i would love to know what you are using to generate the sound scape. i need to get some software with the kinds of controls that generate these tones

Incredible! So creative! I had no idea you existed until Patrick El Meliani sent me the link to his page "polymood," which has two of your songs on it. Wow!

love the bass... love the claps, taps...wow.. I am really impressed with this album so far. this stuff inspires! so fluid... and not the least bit banal for a 12 minute track... it's constantly moving. you guys pulled it off.. the violins at 05:30 are so awesome. I hear a bit of dissonance in there too. Shit, I might as well be reviewing your album with these lengthy comment chapters. good stuff... You guys really made something special.
I like the overall idea but I have a couple suggestions for the lyrics. First, it's a little clumsy; I've never heard "401k" sound poetic. Second, you sing about a character who's lost his future, but you don't show how this happened. Especially in light of the "401k" and "faceless concerns" lines, the picture that I'm getting is of a guy who's been trapped by his own choices, both productive (career) and consumptive -- while this absolutely can be a compelling story, it has to told, and with some introspection. Jess used to tell me, "Show it, don't say it". I think the key album to listen to for songs of this sort is Bruce Springsteen's The River, especially the title track. For all his characters that have lost there futures, there's a story.
Sorry if I'm being a lyrics snob, it's just what I am. Thanks for writing about these ideas, it needs to be done.
Ok...here's another one for the rpm. Just got thinking about religion, God, truth, love, unity. Been reading the "The life of Pi" - well anyway it got the gears turning. Again, enjoy and if you'd like to, tell me what you think.
Much peace…
My plan for the 2009 RPM Challenge was to get up a couple of hours early every day and take care of business before the business day started. I didn't want to take any time away from the family so that was my only option. This song is from the…
I'm Learning MAO with Reason, this is my first track using this software :D
This is just a test, there's no real end to the track, the purpose was to get to understand the general process of compositing with Reason. ;)
the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later
Sudara says: Just found this on my iPod.
Basically it was the first full mix of the tune, before it passed back to glu and then back to Sudara for the "original" version.
This is heavier, more energy, less fraility, and in Sudara's opinion a…
I keep trying to find time to do a remix of this (I still have the original files) - but in the meantime, you guys keep putting out these outrageously great remixes and raising the bar each time. Excellent. ;)

Hi Richard - sorry it took me so long to get back to you on "sleep the abyss" - hey...lay down a guitar part and send it to me! This might be too cool!
Thanks for the shout out on "brand new hobby"!
Keep in touch!

I JUST LOVE THIS CUT!!!!!!
So, I did multiple demos of this in my bathroom (for the echo) in the days before recording it. It is fun to play on acoustic. I record the real thing and it just screamed string quartet (or the Fox version of said quartet) I had never done strings…
Oh light, old light ahead
Rain down, rain down on me
There I was just walking the park
It was just a little bit before dark
There I saw you with that shit eating grin,
It was you, living in our old house again
(sigh) ...so I’m running, and you…
More noodling:
sudara's track "Winter Will Pass" ->
glu's added beats in "Sudara's Track Glubotized" ->
my guitar.
I recorded a single guitar part. I then resampled that twice through Kombinat and BS2; because of the random nature these…
