I can't decide whether this is horribly nihilistic and defeatist or just funny.

Colin, I just tried to post a track by track commentary on this, and it just disappeared. Rather than trying to recreate it, let me just say thanks for posting this live performance. Well done indeed, sir! I hope to hear more of this kind of thing...

Hey Colin! Good on ya! While the sound quality isn't exactly stellar, it's quite good enough to hear the intensity & emotion of the performances. I'm glad you posted this! Stand: Wow, an oldie to start.. it really starts to hit me about a minute in -- nice performance! Revolution: Love the intro - excellent performance, a timely resurrection... All was nothing: Another great composition; I can see why you're still playing it 10 years on, though I hope the hurt has healed! I love the chord changes & would appreciate being able to read the lyrics for all these tracks! Thanks again for putting this up, I'd like to hear more live tracks from you & the others on this site. Cheers, Michael

This tune has been knocking about in various forms for the last decade and I've never given it a name.

Man, how have I missed out on this track for three years? Outstanding guitar work, Colin.

One more instrumental before I move on to the vocals... I came up with this riff one hazy night when I was 19. I'm in my 30s now, and rather more sober, but I still like playing this. It felt good to finally flesh it out.

Oh, and I might like this one even more... Such a great edgy counterpart (and harmonies, no less) to such a fun little ditty. Get down with your bad folky self.

1pm on Sunday. I'm not back in work until Tuesday. We've just had a delicious roast dinner that I cooked, and the glass of wine we had with it is helping it go down. As a crisp February sun twinkles through the window I realise that for the first…
