I was walking down an empty street late one night and thinking of different things while the fire of a song was burning in my head. then took the situation and looked at the parrellels in my life and from that came this song.

Sounding good! I especially like the change at the 3:11 mark. Not that location matters, but you definitly have that New Zealand sound (which I mean as a compliment).
