I've been designing patches for my Prophet 6 the last couple weeks. I'm hand-playing a handful of them here...

A moody solo acoustic thing that I came up with playing in a long forgotten tuning. Just got a new Zoom H4N, so this was recorded in my shop sitting at my reedmaking bench may 12 2009
For my friend and coworker, because he certainly deserves it.

But the Sun
I close the curtains
To shut out the darkness
I shut the window
To keep out the cold
But the Sun is shining
Somewhere, I know.

That's such a cool track on so many levels! The sounds are beautiful, the parts are really nice and flowing together nicely - not so sure about the very end since it introduces something very distinct and new and then ends with it - but it also sounds cool..
I almost wished for some epic string section in the back coming in around 2:36 or later - but it's beautiful as it is!
Thank you for that cool track - added to my playlist :)

The lyrics were off the top of my head so if you're wondering how I really feel, or what I'm talking about... let's just say there's a lot of stupid out there right now and a lot of it has important jobs. Dig?
Kinda funky. Not bad. Maybe…

This is more of a description than a song. It's my contribution to the Minnesota Homebrew Radio Show monthly song writing challenge: "Write a song about your first car."

Week 10 challenge - Place Name. I lived in LIC for about 4 of the 10 years that I lived in NYC. While mostly not a true story, I do love Long Island City - it's very close to Manhattan and has a distinct and individual charm. For those who…

Sounds really cool - and quite light, no idea how you pulled that off! Very musical.
WIth some more instrumentation, this could be a very good dungeon synth track.
I love your short sweet ones like this!
That says it perfectly in a nutshell!

Pretty melody, catchy chorus. Good job writing to the title.
