Good GOD - You have captured Indiana Rockers dead on! OMG. I feel like I went back home and couldn't escape the damned car radios at Frisch's Drive Thru. Yikes.
I couldn't stop laughing. I mean howling. I mean, oh hell. I'm hurt. Hurt. Wen's in heaven. Hilarious. And tight. Outstanding (as usual).
The truest confession of a sincere man choosing love over all else.
Lyrics:
I don't wanna lose you
And if I choose you
Promise you won't go
Don't go
I don't wanna lose you
Girls! Women! Birds! Chicks! This song's about all the pretty girls out there (and you know who you are)! This song celebrates each and everyone of them.
another fun song-- nice instrumental tracks,, my only comment is that the vocal and instrumental seem to be just about the same volume level,, meaning each seems to be competing with each other without either one taking the lead,,
Inspired by the book Musicophilia by Oliver Sacks. An earworm (or brainworm as Sacks espouses) is that catchy melody that sticks in your brain that you just can't shake.
"upbeat pop-rock" to be sure,, earworm is a fun little tune that just boars into you.... though the volume seem a little low to me -- compared to other music on the site
I really like the style of this album, the sounds and beats are pretty cool, has some catchy tunes. It's a fun listen, for sure. I think if it's a "rock opera", though, the lyrics should be more intelligible. That label implies an emphasis on story and themes, which usually requires lyrics to be up-front (your arrangements and sonic style allude to the space theme, but in a more general way).
thanks for the info Tam. Well, you guys keep meeting up, recording, mixing and sharing your tracks with us on alonetone. We all get inspiration from each other so don't stop delivering the goods.
I was thinking about Haiti...
i don't know what to say
i don't know how to feel
when i'm way over here
and things are going well
my house is standing still
my friends are still alive
the smell of spring is in the air
and i just can't connect…
This is a cover of a song by Sister Savage, from her kickin' 2010 RPM Challenge album, Juped 2k10. It also introduces the genre of acoustic crossdressed spacecheese (these damn kids today with their flying cars and their hyperspecialized genres…
Hi folks,
It's good to back after RPM and the blackout of 2010.
A couple firsts here. I recorded this 100% with the computer. I never plugged in to a computer before.
I've always used a Roland VS machine and burnt my
songs/tracks to SCSI…
The unison vocal parts at the end of lines are just perfect. I just wonder where it's going, and it holds off telling me as long as possible. One of the most arresting moments I've ever heard in music.
