Lyrics
Cry of Love
Cry of love, heard in the meadow
Watching the wind blow
With love in the air
Cry of love, answered by another
Who courts the same lovers
With sounds of despair
Cry of love, heard in the daylight
Still crying…
Holy wow, now that's really something. right up there with anything in the profession. A little male baritone could be nice in there too. Still powerful as industry standards go.You all have hit on a sound that possibly will make you some money.
"Hey Motorman" was written for the 100 year celebration of the Ariel Lift Bridge.
The bridge was originally built in 1907 with a gondola that went from side to side carrying passengers and vehicles. It was later replaced with a lift system.
Lyrics:
Trading Smiles
Trading smiles on a cloudy day
Wish good fortune come your way
A passing glance, I’m on my way
Trading smiles
Courtesy seems all but gone
No idea what went wrong
For most of us, it’s been too long
Trading…
Of out tonight for a drink with a few friends but not til 9 so i thought i'd try to write a song and i think i have . i think i'll revisit it later to re-do but for now it will have to do. Hope you enjoy!! A heart-breaker for a Friday night…
Update: Gene offered to improve the Mix on this song! This is that improved version. Thanks so much Gene! You are awesome!!!
I wrote this song earlier this summer, and had played it a few times with Greg Connor, fellow alone toner, and…
Outstanding . . .
I can hear Melissa and the rest of us harmonizing. Colin's bass is keeping us together and Scott's mandolin just brings it over the top.
Great song and lots of fun!

Happy Sunday Alonetoner's.
I wrote this song yesterday as I had some recent events to ponder.... I hope you like it. Trying for a bit of a bluesy feel. If you'd like to download it and add some background blues bass or guitar, or harmonies…

I start smiling every time your voice pans to the other speaker. That's fun!
Nice song. Andrew has the stuff. I think he's right on, although it may not stop Colin and I adding a little something.
Think of it as putting plastic Pink Flamingos in the yard. It may not add much, but you just feel good about it.
Here is my version of Greg's Cherry Pie...I took a little liberty with it and recorded a whole new song.....I think Greg said that would be ok!!
Tried to put the Sweet Ronnie Cream Cheese Mojo on it....good gawd!!!!
This is my first upload. I mostly have a vocal here. It's a song that I'd love to get some collaboration on from the guitarists in the community. Let me know what you think?
Are we having fun . . . or what! I think Ron's Mandolin would sound perfect in here.
Sounds like the key of C to me, less a little drift from singing *A Cappela*.
Maybe somebody will step up and send you a guitar track. If not, we can record it next time we all get together.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Alonetone!
