Another of my instrumental meanderings. I thought of all the people stranded by snow, and decided that they all might need a little cheering up while they waited for their plane/train/boat/road to clear. So, to all the holiday travelers out…
The title of this song refers to the first notes after the choir introduction. This is another of my instrumentals that never found a set of lyrics.
Enjoy.

This little toe tapper is simply a baseline of guitar, bass, and drums, with horns and guitar providing the solos. It was also a song I just couldn't find the right lyrics for. Oh well. Enjoy.

This song described my co-workers at one company during a temporary assignment. I won't mention the company for fear of being sued, but you get the idea what they were like.

Originally written in my bedroom in 1992 or so. Later rewritten and played by Prime Meridian from 1998-2000. It was basically forgotten about until I found it on a tape in 2004 and brought it out for Break Even.
I like this. Like the rhythm guitar and your solos. The lyrics touch home in that we've had power outages recently and everyone's had to forget their computers and actually talk to each other. What a new experience. Time to change our ways indeed.

Sometimes you need to stay up late to try to force yourself to dream.
When I wrote this song (and started singing it a bit), I knew that my voice could never give it what it needed... So I turned it over to one Sister Savage... And she did…

Don't you know, there's a reason why we're here...
Such a show, but situations are never clear...
How do we find, a better future?
How do we mend, such a broken past?
Free to laugh at what…
Tis the gift to be simple, 'tis the gift to be free
'Tis the gift to come down where we ought to be,
And when we find ourselves in the place just right,
'Twill be in the valley of love and delight.
When true simplicity…
This is my favorite among your songs. It has a definite melody I can follow and hum along. This is also has more jazz influence than the others. The others are good, too.

This was written during the challenge in february and was meant to be the title track. But I never really got time to develop it. I still like it though, so I thought I'd cut it rough, leave it undeveloped, and chuck it out there to see what you…
Comments on Endicott Road's stuff
Yeeeaaah!!!
Nice jazzy dance track Terry with serious strutting potential.
This is fantastic. Sounds like a perfect blend of Blondie and Missings Persons. Dale Bozzio's voice would fit perfectly here.
This is cool - love this one.

Cool and jazzy Terry. The flute is inspirational.
and now for something completely different. Big fun here.
Ha ha, this track brings out the creativity in a dancer!
Really dig the part towards the end of the second minute and onwards. Cool energising sounds here, Becks!!
That's a very full sound already Terry, I would say forget the lyrics. It's excellent as it is.
Very nicely arranged, ER! Cool track, sir! Oh yes, just hit the chorus. Been listening to dozens of your tracks, and this may be the best one yet.
"The morality field lies fallow"... Great line! "Just enough to feed me and my cat"... This is a very well crafted commentary on the working world.

Funny, bouncy little tune. I like it. As far as the beach goes, I'll be right there. I'm not much for pork pie, but I just might bring some beer. ER
I like this. I can tell the lyrics are heartfelt, and the melody is very good. Very good song. ER
