The first bioelectrophilia track since returning to the US. This song was made with only 2 saki monkey vocalizations. Note the beginning of the song which demonstrates how one vocalization was turned into part of the percussion.
This one is dedicated to my dear friend John. Thanks for changing my life for the better....
Also a big thanks to our own Greg Connor who helped me get the chords for my own uke accompaniment, and who kindly played the beautiful guitars…

KICK SNARE AND HI HAT are from my limited one-shot sample collection on this computer. The rest of these sounds are samples of mosquitoes. They basically fly around my short shotgun mic while I try to record saki monkey vocalizations. I figured…
A mashup of “Bodyrox - Yeah yeah (Ramirez remix)” and “Bucky Done Gun - M.I.A.”
Part of “The big crash of '07” album. Which is a collection of mostly prototypes of songs that are lost because of a harddrive failure. C'est la vie.
I'm completely against war and do not buy into the idea that it's for 'protection' but this track is dope and I'm glad you decided to upload more tunes here!
woah, different sound than most other cosmic microwave stuff! Really digging the more melodically based approach to these electronically crafted tracks. Excited to see what else comes out of this ongoing collab. Cheers!
Something completely different- Uilleann pipes(Irish bagpipes) and synth. I wrote this tune over 20 years ago in the style of traditional Irish slow airs. It was recorded way back in 1991 for an album that's been out of print for over 15 years…
WOAH! I get entranced by this kind of sound. It reminds me of the sensation I get with the didgeridoo. Monotonal foundation... it evokes a meditative state. Everything surrounding me can be moving rapidly but this sound slows down that internal clock.. ephemeral moments become everlasting... It moves melodically exactly when in needs to, and your pipe performance is just leaves me in awe. Thanks for uploading this amazing tune.
This is a live recording of a set I did with guitarist Mike Levine on a University of New Hampshire radio show. This is one of the 'songs' we did. It is a 5-tune Irish fiddle set that was previously done by the great Irish fiddle player Martin…
A late night meditation.
Here's the process:
Started just auditioning sounds in my Live library. When I do this, I play some random chords or two note intervals; often not looking at my hands or the keyboard. That's the spark. Here I started…
This is another track resulting from a project in my digital music class at Oasis Charter Middle School (Spring 2007). Using a common pool of objects, my newborn daughter's baby instruments, I asked the students to create episodic sound illustrations…
Saw an add on TV for something called "Drag Me To Hell". Dunno what it is with horror films, but apparently scary music is on my mind. Thanks for helping exorcise it.
The guitar part, btw, is e-bow plus slide so any tonality is an accident.
I would be wigged if I listened to this alone at night... on headphone, especially while slightly intoxicated.... the evil ebow in this = machines screaming in agony. I Love the rhythmic bleeps and bloops that carry the song along.
This is a total remake of an earlier posting.
Lead vocals courtesy of fellow Alonetoner, Dana.
In the lyrics, I was trying to capture a sense in which there is something else beyond -
something which draws me as it were homeward. A son…

For my friend and coworker, because he certainly deserves it.

Comments on glu's stuff
What if Mike Oldfield did Darkwave... it might sound like this. The wild-panned backward drum solo in the middle tickled my ears, nice stuff!
Cool ideas here, nice sequencing and use of sounds as rhythm. Does have a dreamy quality.
