Song #2 for the RPMC. My goal is to have 12 short tunes (1-3 minutes long), so I need to pick up the pace.
Again, quartal tuning on the top 3 unison pairs of the 12 string. I've been listening to Ralph Towner's Blue Sun, hence the title.

My RPM challenge this year: acoustic guitar instrumental album with no more than three tracks on each tune (ok, maybe four!)
This one is a single track with no overdubs. On the 12 string, the 4th,5th and 6th string pairs are tuned a fourth apart.

Hi Kavin, if your new tuning changed the length between the 5th and 6ths fret for instance then, no you could not accomplish this by changing the tuning of the open strings.
On the other hand you can make a small trip into microtonality by retuning the open strings a quarter flat or sharp relative to each other.
Two jigs I wrote after returning from Ireland. Sorry for the horrid splice between the two tunes...I'll fix that when I get a chance. Penny whistle, mandolin, acoustic guitar.
Written today.
recorded on an iMac with the internal mic and no headphones (!) so it's probably going to be muddy as hell, but that feels about right for now.
LYRIC:
Fill up the glass, Bartender
Ply your art
Quench the fire in here, now…
Sister Savage has a little star in this track!
Melody based on 'ah! vous dirai-je, Maman,' by Mozart.. the original composer. I think it's the first and second variation of 12, but that was like 15 years ago that I learned the piece so I have…
the first multi track piece that I actually finished "in the box" in Cubase. An ambient kinda thing that grew out of playing around with the Line 6 DL4. Not sure I like the bow parts, but I may re do it later

Oh my, that's artistic!
@Wildgeas: YAY!
Downloaded - because I wish to cut it in to little loop-able pieces, toss it in to the air and see what happens.
A very sweet rambling acoustic improvisation!
Very nice man, little hints and ideas floating all over in this one. I also enjoyed the harmonic slaps in this and the lead runs back and forth p

it was a very good week for you, I see!
It's a rainy day on planet Texas, and I've been listening to A-tone on the BIG stereo. This playlist fit the bill nicely!
Had to click play on this because of the title. Glad I did. A delightfully convoluted track.
FYI-Removed the psychedleacoustic vol. 4 playlist and put the songs that had been favorited into the best of playlist. thank ye
Is it classical or jazz? Love music like this that blurs those genre lines.
Very cool. Somebody been to the crossroads.
Freaking brilliant remix!
Rock on with that DL4 dude!
Manoman. The mixture of sounds blows me away!
I like this..zz.z.zzzzz
Wifey says this sounds like Bette Midler. I say naw, better. The horn section is genius too.

Hey! That was nice, I wanna hear the rest!
This entire album is imaginatitve and, well, different, in a very good way. I wanna DL the whole thing.
