A lifetime of laughter when you were just kids
And all that came after the silly things you both did
Those times are long, long gone like they ran off and hid
Then the world got bigger with other places to play
And getting so caught up in…
A lifetime of laughter when you were just kids
And all that came after the silly things you both did
Those times are long, long gone like they ran off and hid
Then the world got bigger with other places to play
And getting so caught up in…
Everywhere I go, there's so much noise
They try to tell you you'll be fine if you purchase their new toys
But nothing on this Earth I've ever found
Can bring me back to life when the world's run me down
When nothing else can make it right…
The first lines of the chorus just crept into my head.
I had to write the rest.
ALL IN
You've been holding back for so long now
And I've been losing track of how many times I've written my vows
It feels like you're sleeping behind the…

Tharek sent me this beautifully played guitar arrangement and told me to have at it with the spirit of Christmas, so I wrote and recorded this little message of hope and peace. Somehow when I write music with and for fellow musicians across the…

Here we stand beneath the sky
Take my hand as time rolls by
Here we stand, nobody else around
Did we land on solid ground?
Along the ledge
Side by side
So near the edge
Of the great divide
For Heaven's sake
I have no doubt
The steps…
The last wood of the season burning
Another winter - see you on the other side
After everything has died
The last leaves of the season falling
Soon the air will be filled with dark and doubt
And the fire's going out
The last night of…
I met a buddy out for dinner
To catch up on our lives
Both way less saint and way more sinner
At least, according to our wives
But as he got himself a-talking
He sounded more and more insane
What he believed became so shocking
For who…
I keep searching for a sign
From the other side
To keep my hope alive
Trying to walk the line
God knows how hard I've tried
Don't know if I'll survive
Gotta let it slide
Man, these are trying times
If you attempt to fly
You wind up…
Raised on vinyl and a needle that rides
To a paper circle at the end of both sides
Between the speakers, cover in hand
Sit in silence after Jungleland
I will not trade one bit of my soul for their pieces of gold
I've seen a world they'll…

To tell them how to live before they die
As if they can't control their own behavior
Or trust what they can see with their own eyes
Mindlessly believing what you tell 'em
When everything you tell 'em is a…
The finished product! Oldest daughter shines!
We don't always see eye to eye
And there are some days I don't know how we get by
We spend so much time caught in the race
Gotta slow down the pace
When did the river get so wide
All I thought…

Some say, "It's the price you gotta pay"
Some say, "You gotta learn to walk away"
But I'm still standing in the light
And I won't go down without a fight
Some say, "True love is just a lie"
Some say, "You'll give it up before you die…
If I told you how well I know you
Would you tell me it's not true
Have you got yourself believing
No one could know you like I do
I know it's been a long time coming
So many others you thought would treat you right
But I'm gonna show you…

This is my stadium anthem, the one to close the show with. Everyone put your lighters (or cellphones) in the air and sing along...
I was sick as **** when I recorded it, so my vocals on it are really pretty bad. Ah well, that's rock and roll…
Also recorded when I was very, very sick...I needed to get RPM 2006 kicking into gear, regardless of the state of my voice.
This song was written and recorded on the spot. What you are hearing is what I made up as I went with the record button…
This song has a tale similar to Left Me Wondering. This was made up on the mic, both gtr and vox. Unlike Left Me Wondering however, I went back and overdubbed some backing harmonies and I also did a little extra GTR on it too.
What's fun about…
What's rock and roll without a yee-haw or war-whoop before a solo?
This ragged piece of something or other came from a riff I had laying around for a couple of years. I pieced it together kind of last minute for RPM 2006. It's not bad, a lot…
The urgency of this album comes through in all the best classic rock ways... Truly this album epitomizes the RPM challenge. Listening to this album should be a pre-requisite for every artist's introduction to the RPM Challenge.
...And war whoops are right and proper before the thrashing guitar solo.
This one is a personal favorite of mine, though it got savaged on Garageband.com. Ah well...
It has a lot of parts, lots of gtrs, and boatloads of harmonies. Actually, one guy on Garageband loved it. Maybe some day I will buy him a drink.

Great opening riff... Damn, why didn't I get around to listening to this album sooner... Wait, I know... I was so demoralized by the fact that the album title "28 Days" had already been done (just as I was about to name my 2010 RPM effort the same thing) that I shut my computer before I gave the album a listen! Glad I didn't stick with the name... "Keeping Constant Motion" (the eventual album title) pales in comparison to this rock masterpiece.
Turn this one up REALLY FREAKING LOUD!
Written, recorded and polished off in about 45 minutes or so. Clearly my British influence shines forth in this one, right down to the SG through a Vox amp tones and backward riffs here and there. (and…
Reg was talking to Elvis about Frank and he told him something he didn't know.you can have it all then at the end not remember it which is what happened to Frank the grind ground him down a sad ending for a great man......Dementia is a cruel end…
Hey... First one in to comment! Great groove on this one... So how about the words now that you've survived RPM and recovered... I'm wanting to hear 'em.
Ooooh... Digging this one right off the first note. Love the harmonica List it as one of many instruments (including the guitar) that I wish I really knew how to play.
Great arrangement top to bottom!
A song about meeting up with each other this year for some music and booze next week.

i need some time

originally this was an instrumental called el arca from El arca CD recorded by Lucho Avolio and marcelo prive (from argentina) in 1998. then james higgins aka oldrottenhead(from scotland)heard it and had…
Well, this may be the final tweaking of this nice little sing along song...
I sent this fun little sing along off to Jim of MTC fame, and once again he has outdone himself... And I can't thank him and his wife (who appears covertly) enough…
I wrote these lyrics last year. And I've been meaning to put them to music, but, if it ain't one thing it's another, and here we are....
Well, this here started out as a recording from an old cassette tape recorder of a jam we did some 6 or 7…
Here's proof. Proof that things are a bit mysterious in my studio.
Late last night my Bass Cajon all of a sudden decided to start accompanying me on its own - without me touching it. At first I thought that some apparitional bass player had…

Hey Norm,
Thanks for the okay on playing along. I'll try to find the time to work on it this week. Thankfully, summer vacation is on the way and I can really spend more time recording...
And thanks for coming by and listening to some of my stuff. If you really want to get the flavor of this February's complete CD, check out the playlist "Late December" if you'd like to hear this year's RPM album in order rather than back to front.

This is a dynamite Keith Landry vocal.
Great sound on this, lots of space. Love the call and response outro. Excellent EP, Keith!
Love the guitar sound on this, crisp and clear. Heartbreaking lyrics.
Heartfelt and poetic, nicely done!
Really well done Keith. Nice use of space in the music. Smooth vocals as well.
Merry Christmas
Nice work, Keith.
Excellente!
Perfection again.
Perfection.
This is something I've experienced as well. And have used that in a song too! Great job, btw.
oh yes!! This is great. Beautiful voice you have (and cool guitar). The bridge is perfect....love that guitar. Congrats on your RPM :)
Great stuff Keith!
Very nice, one of my favorites of yours!
Great song. Lovely father-daughter harmonies. You’re a lucky man, Mr. Landry.
Sooooooooooooo good! I am freaking out over this song.
Another great tune just begging for a full band treatment.
Someone needs to give this a full band treatment. You have a serious pop vibe working here.
Excellent polished sound here, Keith.

Great acoustic sound... And what a voice! I'll be sure to come by and do some serious listening one of these nights...
Great album closer... First rate album, Gary. The urgency is just outstanding. This song might need some future covering.
...And another great acoustic track... Now I'm certain that an unplugged album is in order.
Great unplugged track... It may be time for an all-acoustic album, Gary!

All right... Time for a classic Gary Fox night. Great opening track. Love the driving beat, man... I can't turn it up loud enough.
Man, how did I miss this one? Great track guys.

Great performance, T! This is yet another outstanding track from a brilliant musical mind!
Wow. Such perfect simplicity to this arrangement. Just outstanding.
I just had to fave this, once again for the masterful contributions of MTC's Jim Garn.
Listened to, faved, commented on, and downloaded. Outstanding.
Well... Since I can't fave it again, I'll comment again. This truly is a brilliant track.
Faved at 0:03... Wish I could fave again every five seconds thereafter.
Hey, thanks for coming by to have a listen! I'll be finding the time to return the favor soon!
Faved at the first notes.
Excellent track, Norm... I may need to mess with this as well!
