I was drinking one night -- that's how most of my stories start -- thinking about somebody I used to love. This is raw, no effects, recorded on a single mic.
every moment
each day
searching
for something
someone
to feel
know
care
every face
each friend
rejection
and its too much
too much
too much
to bear
it's been a long
long
time coming
it's a long
long
way home
every moment
each inch of time…
Songs that we love , we love for a reason, mostly personal- to make that experience public means something too. other than that i like your version for many reasons, especially your voice.

I had to give this a listen because it is one of my favorite Cohen songs - although I like the Rufus Wainwright version even better than Cohen's.
Yours is a very interesting interpretation. Something you have to listen to with dedication. It did not grab me immediately - but after a couple of bars you had me. And now I'll hit that heart button thing up there. :)
I stole this corny song from some kid on youtube:

I'm not on top of it as usual, guys. But I did manage to let Greg Brady out of my basement and set him free. This is his testimonial regarding the incident. I hope he can forgive me.

Cool and intriguing. I like!
Damn it. Still stuck in my head. What evil is this?
Cool, cool... and then... at 2:25... way way way cool. Lennon-McCartney cool.
Striking. Makes me think of Traffic...
I can't think of an appropriate comment, so, "skeleton in heels."
I'm creeped out and buying you a drink.
I don't know what this is... but I'm sure diggin' it.
Something so believable about everything here. Great job.
Great tune.

Everything you put together is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Love it.
Great sound, great production, great tone, great vocals... great.
This is crazy awesome stuff. Where have you been hiding?
Way cool and kind of spooky. I always was afraid of middle kids.
Mr. Bojangles meets meaning.... Awesome.
I wasn't too freaked out until 3:45 when Chef stepped in. Awesome.
Kept the feeling of the original. I'm a sucker for a good Floyd cover!
And the ending is extra super double freakin' awesome! Great, cute tune.
Fantastic. Great lyrics. Strangely Beatlesque.
