Another one pulled from the archive...I was really into soundtrack scoring when I was making this track. Headphones advised for full range on this one…
I wish my CD players in the vehicles worked so I could listen to your stuff in wav format when I drive..time to get new CD players I guess! Great song.

I love the fill at 1:40 that sounds like it should build into a nice hard vibrato Kim Thayil solo. The bridge that kicks in at 2:16 is an excellent addition to a solid theme. My only gripe is the crash being panned hard left. I think it either needs less extreme panning or some reverb panned half way to the right to help balance its place in the mix.

As I had nothing better to do last night, I had this great idea that I would construct a rhythm for the 24 hour challenge. This would be different: a 24 minute drum solo (I mean, who wouldn't love that?). I even had a perfect bass riff: the "Mother…
A day at the beach and a moment of seeing past the trappings of the physical world into what's really important. This song is doing double duty with another Rock-opera concept.

Nice set up, glad you liked my acoustic stuff. I took this week off to work on some recording hopefully I be wrapping up some recording I've been workin on.
Pretty nice setup you have going. Is that a "stabd alone" recorder? I have a few computer setups but I have been looking for a digital 16 track with a cd burner, it might nake my life easier ;)
Well, this is the last song in the Lobster man song cycle. I had one left in me to get out, this one hopefully finishes the story for our Lobster man and his son Lobster Boy. I can now finally move on to other things... thanks for listening…
Yep you nailed it, "the Yeti" is actually a riff i re-used fron "Tired Hands" with launched. Glad you liked the acoustic sketches, i finally took time off work next week, so hopefully i get a ton of new stuff done, and a few collabs wrapped up. Talk to you later bro.

This mortal strife, gets too rough
And sinners dance, upon your grave
Waiting for, your bones to bleed

Drive cleaning time!!
Found this arrangement left over from RPM. The drum track was already mixed from my old kit. I cut it and mashed it up trying to fix it when I mix it.
Then I added some vintage synth sounds, some guitars, and some reptilian…
Had these backing tracks laying around on my drive for a while and didn't know what to do with them, so grabbed my Ebow and a fretless electric that I built for myself a couple years ago and had a go. My fretless playing is really in its infancy…
Okay, so i had to check out your link. Then I had to research the book you read....then listen to the track....(very nice track study)...and now i must get a copy of the book. :) If nothing else it will be a good book for idea's.
A slightly destructive children's song... But I suspect that many of you have tried some of the things mentioned.
I have a great idea up in my head
Let's try it out this afternoon
We'll tie the dog up to the sled
Pretend we're launching…
The next step in the progression of this song... It still needs quite a bit of cleanup (and some extra arranging), but it's getting there.
Hey, everyone writes songs about falling in love (which for me was, like, seventeen years ago), so I thought…
Thanks man, it was pretty nuts. Gave it my best shot. I knew you would like the unplugged stuff. There will be more of it to, i can't wait to go play again ;)
i usually find my funk in the bathroom....sitting on the pot humming clapton and beck tunes...:) Ha!

mm this is fantastic :)
Dude. Soooooo good.
Awesome!
This is a fabulous foundation for a rocking tune. I'm trying to figure out what vocal style would fit, though. I'm thinking Layne Staley.
That double kick is insane!! The break at 2:11 is a nice touch, especially where it builds at 2:27.
Fantastic jam :)
