Not an overall bad recording, and I’m quite pleased with the lyrics of this Psychedelic Folk tune.

APATHY AND GREED
Apathy and greed is in the human seed

One of my better Psych Folk recordings. Intro voice and keyboards by Starry Nightmoth. BG rhythm/drums generated using a Yamaha E313 KB. Lyrics, music and all other instruments and vocals are my fault.

One of my personal favorite recordings from the 52 song MYTHOPOETICA demo collection, even though there’s a sound quality issue (the bass had a bit of a buzz). This was my first time using a wammy bar – I liked it!

Hope you enjoy the trip. The bass line kept my fingers busy on this more aggressive Psychedelic Folk tune. The poem is actually three crammed into one, all about the same dream.

Another Psychedelic Sea Shanty. This one follows a Fox Trot beat. I didn’t have a mic screen when I recorded the vocal tracks – my voice is piercing at moments. Hope you are nonetheless able to enjoy the mix-down. Pan flute by Starry Nightmoth…

An original composition. The Moors refer to the North Yorks Moors in the UK which has a fine stretch of heather moorland which looks magnificent when the heather is in bloom in late August/Early September

Bittersweet, with sad lyrics sung over beautiful piano. On the one hand I’m thinking, “That poor guy needs some company,” while on the other, selfish hand I’m thinking, “But out of his misery came this gorgeous music we might not otherwise have been blessed to experience.” And on my third, evil hand, I’m thinking, “What kind of awesome tune would he belt out if we increased his misery by roughing him up every now and then?”
Fun mix – I believe you tested positive! Consider extending this into something more. Have you heard of my songwriting challenge, to come up with a recording befitting the title, “How to Assemble Your Android?” This Sci Fi test sounds like the start of something that could meet that challenge.
Hey all, which Greed version do you prefer? :)
Lead guitar, organ, and drums added by Vic Lyn. He did a great job - extremely talented and insightful with music. Thanks so much, Vic. (Check out Vic's website: www.avlstudios.com
An acoustic short song I just made up, I kept it very basic by only using my little Höhner guitar with nylon strings of which I recorded two layers. I hope you will enjoy my song ! Warm regards from Anna.
RPM tack 2 --i stand atop the cathedral Notre Dame, fluffy white clouds float in an electric blue sky, gazing towards to Tour De Eiffel, i notice a small balloon flitting and flying along in the gentle summer breeze over the skyline of Paris
I thought i'd join in the fun thanks for the challenge Gene......with a little fx free from freesfx.co.uk

An exceptional job -- great lyrics, pleasant music. You done good. The snore at the end -- ha ha! Sure glad you got in on this challenge, and, as Greg said, welcome to the party!
there is so much in this to appreciate. You have frea taste when it comes to compiling sounds and manipulating with effects and then mixing down the tracks and mastering the final sound file. You're a sound engineering master artist!

Very cool vibe. I like that baseline!! Lyrics create a tense visual of that awful feeling when you pop awake from a bad dream... Awesome!

I love it!!!
Gentle, sweet, pretty, lovely, delightful, moving, relaxing, meditative.

I dig the organ in this version. The drums are handled well. Ooh, here's the lead guitar part I was waiting for -- TOO SHORT!
Reminds me of some late-'60s Psychedelic Grunge Rock, which is like, wow, my favorite genre of music, man! Far out and groovy. Happening. Rock on!
Digging the reverb and the wammy bar. Warm sounds. Rich, full, robust chords. Tasty like chocolate Easter bunnies from Europe!
Came by to hear if I still liked this one. Apparently I still do. Gorgeous.
Like Greg Connor, this one is, SO FAR, my favorite.
I meditatively floated away with this expansive, gentle, gorgeous, peaceful piece.
And, he's a mighty fine picker too!
Bobby Hamblin knows what he's doing!

Very early-Rolling Stones-ish. I can see Mic Jagger strutting about the stage in my mind as I listen to this. Dig!
In the traditional Harris-style; slick, sly, and tasty!
Sweet, lovely lyrics, singing, and picking.
I dig this composition. It speaks to me and gets beneath my skin. Great delivery. Nice mix down/mastering job. Rock on!
You're the only songwriter I know that would, and successfully cold, write a tear-jerker about an old couch. 5 solid gold kudos! Keep it real, James!
Funkilicious, far out, groovy, fun.
