BTW, the Del Shannon version is in A minor/A -- we transposed our version to E minor/E simply because I can't "wa wa wa wa wonder" and "wai wai wai wia why" as high as teenage Del anymore.

The "Oboe" lead break in the song's center is performed by Starry Nightmoth on her Yamaha E-313 keyboard. Please give her some kudos -- she practice the rift for 3 days to make this song happen for us!

COME TOGETHER
Here come old flattop, he come groovin' up slowly

(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay
Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' come
Watchin' the ships roll in
Then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh…

YOUR CHEATIN' HEART by Hank Williams Sr.
Your cheatin' heart will make you weep
You'll cry and cry and try to sleep

Thank you for your nice comment. Your music is very interesting too. If you like dark or mystiic music, check out my other project "Funeral Miracle Saga". It´s on alonetone too :)
I have so many fond memories of this song. My mom used to sing this to me when I was a kid. Thank you so much for making this. This is a beautiful rendition.
Apparently you folk down-under in Newcastle, Australia know how make the music, and make it right. This number really grips me, reaches down into my heart and soul. And what an incredible guitarist, and sweet, smooth vocals. ROCK ON!
MY SPIRIT
Spirit Father in the sky
Mother Earth, they hear my cry
Take my spirit from my mind
Leave the rest of me behind
Feed my ashes to the wind
I will journey back again
When the sky is deepest blue
Know I'm looking down at you…
i was watching the new BBC wildlife program the other night and it showed the plight of a young Whale and its mother and a bunch of sharks and i i'm basing this one on that........coming up from the bottom to the top........
OMIE WISE (traditional)
Oh, listen to my story, and I'll tell you no lies
How John Lewis did murder poor little Omie Wise
He told her to meet him at Adams's Springs
He would bring her some money…
The sleep is still in my eyes
The dream is still in my head
I heave a sigh and sadly smile
And lie a while in bed
I wish that it might come to pass
Not fade like all my dreams
Just think of what my life might be
In a world like I have seen
I don`t think I can carry on
Carry on this cold and empty life
My spirits are low in the depths of despair
My lifeblood spills over
50/90 is over. What do I do now? The plan was to do the same thing I did after RPM and FAWM ended... just start another album in a month project.
Well I started it, but it's going really slow. There are only five songs in the works, and…
Groovy, really! Very impressed with your sax work -- the first rift reminds me of the sax player in the break on Floyd's "Money," and the 2nd sax rift reminded me of Quarterflash. Choice guitar rifts!
A collaboration with buddies of mine from songcrafters.org Just dug it out again today and thought I'd share it.
Gnasty - Guitars, T-Jam
Ratatat-tat Drums
Me - Bass, Vox

I just sang this song last Tuesday night with about 12 other musicians. Great song to harmonize with.

I don't get why more folk at AloneTone aren't checking you out. You've got it together! Keep it happening!

That is one wicked bass line! Far out vocals. What a amazing, delicious mix down -- Rock on!
Tis the season for dirges!
Cool organ sounds, sweet beat, digging the bass, good mix-down.
Great job, creep song.
Note: This recording signifies the retirement of Nightmoth, Merry Bear, Justin Otter Guy, and Gene Eric Mann

FABULOUS!!
All too brief!
It peaks in places and buzzes my speaker at those points -- maybe bring down the volume by 3dbs -- but otherwise it's really cool.
