Like it! Love those chords. And I love how the tension goes up and down - a big release at the start of the chorus, and then it gradually grabs you again as the chorus completes and we're back into another verse. I was wondering how it would feel at the end... and it's perfect. Off to watch the video now :)
Rita and I both enjoyed the video. We especially liked “the good wife” singing back up. I have to say the ending really got our attention.
Sounds like most of the evenings I have out or in .... liking the trippy vibe too
Love the feel of this one. Kinda trippy. It's got a Mamas and Papas vibe to it.
Sounds like you have got the blues back :)
Must take swimming lessons!!! Good song indeed...
It works for me
Rainy days are good for naps but they can certainly mess with your head. Good song Roger! I like the ending, “Don’t let me down”
You possibly shouldn't trust my judgement, though... In the 90s, I used to listen to "The Wall" to cheer myself up!!!
Oh yeah. Like it. From the lyrics, it should be kinda depressing... but it's not, I find it really uplifting. So you could think, oh, the lyrics don't fit the music... but they DO!! I don't know how it works but it does. Love it.
Oh yes... This is wonderful. The guitar sound is soothing and expectant. The sentiments in the lyric - yesss (or "Nice" lol)
Excellent That tuning is working. More please
A cool breeze....
I only really know the Thin Lizzy version... and this one!
Is that a mandolin? Nice song.
Ahhhh ...... The good old days!
I think I remember it? Mighty cool anyways. I'm kinda jealous, though - all my old ones aren't that easy to post here... they're all recorded on pieces of A4 paper, in the metaphorical "shoe-box" (actually, it's not not that metaphorical, it is a box, several actually, they've just never held any shoes)
Almost got an Album !!! I got to say what a gas , gas it is writing and playing with you all. That's once I stop laughing from our Zoom
meetings :) :)
Wonderful Greg, wonderful ....
A sad but a great song, having watched my Mother in law suffer that dreadful disease ... and a powerful video, sending love to all of you.
Ha Ha , someone Kiss him xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh yes Andrew .... Epic ..... Dark ..... Love it.
Yep, this is jumpin' .....
Do love a golden oldie, great song, as I record on a Boss, we love Mr. Boss : ) And yes could be on any Family album ..... are you sure you're not Roger .....
Think I'll hang up my guitar now Greg , that has got to be the best song I've heard from you, Faultless mate, Faultless .....
Where's the Walrus ?? Great fun ...
Cheers to us
Leave it alone, come on someone, vocals ?
Love it Colleen, and bless Gene, a kind loving soul he was.
Wonderful Bethan, Wonderful .....
Just ....... magical ......
Sorry Colleen, the harmonica was played by my best mate, Dave Underwood, he played on most of my tracks. Mr. Connor supplied
the Bass line.
It's no good Andrew, your music reminds me so much of Family, I absolutely love it. Having seen them so many times, I'm sorry to say, I'm off to Youtube to catch up on some Chapo ..... but like a good groupie, I'll come back to you. ( hope this don't make tongues wag )
Can't beat a good ole fashion love song.
Beautiful Colleen, beautiful.
