I completely understand your reaction. My youngest has three favorite songs of mine we used to sing together. She's all of 14 and too grown up to admit it, but she still loves the songs. And I still smile thinking about it.
Nice work on the effects. Tell Nina she plays very well for her age. And the more she plays the more she'll enjoy it and the more others will enjoy hearing her play.
Big regards.

Awesome playing and mix! Actually reminds me a bit of some of the stuff from Meat Beat Manifesto's "At The Centre" and "Off Centre" albums, and that's a good thing. :)

Well, I sent this simple little arrangement off to Jana to see what he thought it needed. When he suggested a uke, I said "Go for it!"
He was right... Can't thank him enough for his contribution.
HERE WE ARE TODAY
How can it be so…
I decided to re-visit a song I wrote a few months earlier for the Faces of Humanity album/videos. It seemed to fit in extremely well with a lot of my current life and the album I've begun writing this month :) Enjoy!
Feel free to check out…

Inspired by the french movie titled "The Element Of Crime." This is basically a night in the studio for some musical therapy via studio jam with myself.
Here comes the rush
You feel it in your bones
And when your bones are crushed
You feel it in your soul
You just cant escape it
Its everywhere you go
Turn round and face it
Tell everyone you know
Ah, the rush
You've missed so much
Here comes…
Reg had a bit of tiff with the Mrs so he stormed down the cellar to release his anguish with Elvis and turned it into this little beauty .....now he feels a lot better and is making Mrs Reg a nice cup of tea to say sorry....because lets face it…
Samples used in this tune from the NY subway this summer. Inspired by Dave Dunseath

Reminds of those black and white western movie themes.
This is Amazing man!! Talent must be genetic!
Yeah, very cool. You need to record some more of this kid. This reminds me of the hookah smoking caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland.
Oh my. Makes me want to follow it...like it's an eerie but compelling light! Can't wait to hear more!

That's just the bee's knees! Wonderful playing, Nina, and choice effects, dad - Far out!
Nice work, Nina! My 12 year old son plays the flute as well, and Ian Anderson is a huge hit around our house too. Great collaboration.
That be good be. Mighty cool.
Lovely stuff Nina! Keep it up!
Heheh, the first few trill notes sound like the intro to Cross Eyed Mary.

I like this one. Soundtrack for Natural Born Killers part II.
That's a dandy.
There's no cowboys around here, but I do like spaghetti :)
When I grow up, I want to play just like J.S. Tolar.
Whew! Excellent changes. The ending is spectacular.
Let's do more :)
Ha, you took it to a new level. A psychedelic level. Love it!
Is this the strat you took the frets off sanded down, etc? Sounds great. Crispy.
Is that Zoom H2 battery operated?
Awesome cover gang.
