Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy.
This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…
I guess I knew this would happen. Talk about creating one's own reality Sheeeeesh. End of the month and my pen has been re-fueled and I added some vox to this one, plus some lead guitar, and a bit of synth strings. I also took a shot at some…
Post RPM jammin'. I don't feel much like cleaning up after RPM. Not yet anyway. I think my little Casio took a beaten and went out of tune. I did this arrangement with just the Casio, guitars and
harmonica, hence the annoying piano and strings…

well I must say that I rather enjoy this one very much! i like how there space in the music. because somehow i think I should always be saying something. I worry more about my lyrics than the music when I write something. It was nice to listen to this. the music is a hook in and of itself!

Well, this may be the final tweaking of this nice little sing along song...
I sent this fun little sing along off to Jim of MTC fame, and once again he has outdone himself... And I can't thank him and his wife (who appears covertly) enough…
Here's proof. Proof that things are a bit mysterious in my studio.
Late last night my Bass Cajon all of a sudden decided to start accompanying me on its own - without me touching it. At first I thought that some apparitional bass player had…
Flinch
I'm guilty
I took the bait again
And here I am again
Always with the same stupid grin
And I didn't go as planned
Few things do I've learned
From the top I pulled it
but I didn't see how far you'd go
didn't I see you flinch…

Did this back in 2009.
Before me and Jim actually met each other...
The music was improvised to the notion of returning home from space.
Jim did the Lyrics in 5 mins over the net..
And here it is..

I played on 3 congas, accented with bell clave, block and cowbell, of course…

Another great one!
Glad you got refueled cause this is freaking awesome! I like the lead, but I'd definitely have a slower fade out at the end. It left me wanting MORE.
Dig the western feel of this one. Gonna have to see the movie again to get the full effect!
Great stuff Geas, I knew there was a bit of spaghetti western in you.
I dug this to the point where I might be in China by now!! Great harp and slide.
Wowie Zowie!!! I need to watch that again real soon. This tune does that scene all the justice imaginable. Nice zippo slides.
Definitely nailed the spaghetti western theme! Doesn't sound like it needs a bunch of cleanup. In fact, its pretty awesome as-is!
Darn, JS is always first. Sparkly, twinkly and yes, I get the music box reference! Very clever!
Love That Harp!!!! Superb
This is Very Well Done!

Awesome musicianship gang. Real professional track.
Bad ass Hot Wheels - Interesting stuff.
@Norm - happens regularly. One of these days I'm going to accidentally knock her out :D
Big difference from 4x11. I guess it's the Taylor eh? Nice sounding guitar.

Pop the top on the bubbly and pour me half a glass. Cheers!
Whew! That's some piece of work right there.
psychedelic rock and roll!! Great stuff Jez.
Real classy tune fellas.
My synth counted down 4-3-2-1 for me once. During a late RPM night. Scared the Sh*t right out of me.
That's some incredible guitar work right there. Rock and Roll!!
Outstanding! Saving that one.
Another way to enjoy this is open a second window in your browser and start Norm's Ilesa at the same time.
Yes Sir, you certainly are having a blast with the drum kit. Jammin'
Love that harmonica. It has a unique sound to it :) The whole tune sounds like a live performance. Nice.
Oh golly, I hear some synths and strings. I'm gonna download it. Ya never know :)
twice........
With a title like that, one just has to listen.
I listened a few times. I like the different feeling of each phrase. Drama, suspense, anticipation. Great piece of work.
Very creative Ross. Harmonies are outstanding.
