New one from me. It's ended up as a bit of a "crying into yer beer at Bob's Country Bunker" sort of song lol...

Your best song so far - IMO. And all the others were great too. But this one has that wonderful blues-gospel feel that grips you from the very first note.
I'll listen to this song a lot more times, no doubt about that.
This is a collaboration with a prolific chap called James Higgins (oldrottenhead on songcrafters.org), based on an instrumental of mine from a couple of years ago: http://alonetone.com/andyr/tracks/muletide

Did this one sometime in 2009 on a Boss MBR. I'd recently joined what became Songcrafters.org and PJ (Wiley) posted a bass/drum track for us ubiquitous blues guitarists to solo over.
I decided to go a different route…
Thanks Andrew. Glad you enjoyed the album. I was pretty happy with it for my first RPM and my first real dabble into that style of playing. I will be swinging back by to check out your tracks!

Pop-rock tale about a character in a novel that I fancied. Recorded in 2009 on a Boss MBR.

This is a good song played well, and I really dig your gritty vocals! I'll have to post some of my blues stuff. It's not much different than what you're doing
A few months back we had a "Beatlesfest" on songcrafters.org.
I contributed this and Yesterday.
This one's a bit of a departure for me. Not the song itself - it's been one of my favourites ever since I was tiny (I preferred Robin Gibb's…

One of my two contributions to a "Beatlesfest" we had over on songcrafters.org a few months back.
I still can't believe I covered this... having done it though, it feels like nothing is sacred. And, more worryingly, I feel I might possibly…

Okay Andrew R. , this ones for you bud. Had a little fun with it in the intro. That was the surprise.
I put the bass line down and arranged the drums Saturday morning and returned later that night about 10:00 pm . I worked until 2 am and laid…
Having more fun with Hendrix. I tried to stay true to the original as far as using no overdubs. Just one guitar, bass, drum and vocal track. Kind of used a mix approach and used a bit from the record and a bit from his live performance in Winterland…
Okay , this may be my last Hendrix cover for awhile. I have been itching to record a few new original songs that are waiting in the wings. These covers were fun to do and I discovered alot about the songs I didnt no before. On this one I added…

I was standing behind an elderly couple in the grocery store checkout line last week.
The cashier told them that someone had donated $100 toward their groceries. $100 had already been paid toward their $121 grocery…
Very tasty intro. You're getting some fab guitar sounds.
Love the "Makes me think a little more bout how I’d like to be" line. And that solo is simply spot on - simple is best :)
Stream of Consciousness again. Just pick up and play and see where it goes. Bit crackly on the vox and intro, but all intentional to give that 'just flung together' feel! G:)
Comments on Andrew Russe's stuff

Love the dual guitar attack here!!!!
Wow, guys, that's a TREMENDOUS improvement on an already pretty impressive track. I love it. Great job!

Sweet Blues! hell yea!!

Too cool!! Nice slide!
A fine little blues. When I hear you do such vocals I'm always afraid you'll lose your voice! ;)

This is pretty wonderful.
LOVE IT! Captures the vibe of the original and moves it on.
Yes, enjoyed... like it.
This one is growing on me more each time I hear it.
Nice one. Are you saying that "stream of consciousness" means while the record light was on? If so, quite stunning.
I'm gradually getting into the weird and wonderful world of infograe
Yeah, like it. Very effective rhythm playing on the acoustic.
Yep, I'm with odh - continually amazed by the clarity of the guitar sounds you get. Nice one
