Thanks for the generous comments you left on our songs sir.
Love the vocal effects here, masterful production and really entertaining arrangement, the intro transitioning into the verse was a nice touch.
This one was inspired by Wen's mom; and is therefore dedicated to all those musicians doing RPM, and all musicians who toil away at home to make their music despite what their friends & co-workers might think of their efforts.

"You wanna see talent? Come over to my house and watch my kids play Rock Band."
Hilarious!
I guess I should admit that I occasionally enjoy a bit of Rock Band...
Well, there was this Spectrasonics contest... and songs had to be submitted by June 30th... so we finally started working on this one on the evening of the 29th. Yeah. We procrastinate.
you guys amaze me with your RPM. I'm seriously blown away by this entire album. Each track stands out on its own so well... tapping into different emotions... flirting with different styles... it's an amazing piece and it makes me proud to be a part of alonetone. cheers to Kirk and Wendy... I raise my glass high!
Ahh, this is Vivian Circle length...and as I was commenting on Joshua Wentz' work earlier today, the two of you really know how to make an ALBUM...something that is so rare today. A piece of work/art that is to be consumed from beginning to end and savored. This is one of those albums. I really love that you put this piece last, it caps off a beutiful journey and leaves me wanting more...I think Ill start it up again...
I was listening to this and did not want to turn it down whent he phone rang...the person on the other end said...are you listening to Siouxsie (of the Banshees- and btw this person loves that band) and I said, why no I am listening to Another Cultural Landslide and thier brilliant new record, and I cant stay on the phone..CAUSE I LOVE THIS SONG!!!
Gorgeous....again, this record is so brilliant. I hope that someone dumps a truck full of money on your front lawn...I would take it as a sign from the Muse that you have done good with your beautiful music...truly gifted the two of you are.

Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - December. Written from a kid's perspective, this song challenges his parents to come clean about the truth behind Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. After all, lies make the Baby…
Original song: from the album, All In A Day's Work (which started out life as our RPM album for 2007). The views expressed in this song solely represent Beatnik Turtle, the band, and do not reflect the views of any individual member. The band…
Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - December. This was one of the last songs recorded for TheSongOfTheDay.com project. The original version was completely a sixties-inspired orchestra ballad a la something off The Beatles album…
Original song: from the album, When I Was Your Age (which started off life as our RPM album for 2009). When I Was Your Age features songs that take a look back at when we were kids. If you're anything like us, Saturday mornings were about two…
Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - June. Featuring our friend, Qadree Holmes on vocals, this song goes out to all Notary Publics everywhere. The song came about when Jason was asked to notarize a few immigration documents for…
Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - February. This song refers to February 29th, or Leap Day. It also refers to heartbreak and loss, but that's not nearly as important as Leap Day. The observant listener will notice that back…
Original song: from the album, TheSongOfTheDay.com - January. This song began it's life back in 1999 on an 8-track cassette recorder. In 2007, for TheSongOfTheDay.com project, we were able to overlay drums, re-do vocals, and replace some hummed…
