Oh squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
You have punked my 'Rora! LA LA LOVE IT!!
OH!!! MARACAS! YEAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I see you dumped Liz Taylor, yeah, I can understand that. I kind of prefer your middle 8. :-)
On a technical level, I'm not sure the problem is purely overpopulation. Maybe it's something like that a lot of the ways we increase the carrying capacity of the earth have great potential to destroy it.
Oh, great, now I'm overanalyzing song lyrics (I just wrote a whole album of speculative fiction, and I'm pretty sure I disagree with half of it). It's a good tune, 'eh?
Another angry song. My boss once handed me a spreadsheet about cost prices from vendors and said "I don't like the way this looks". I wondered if the upper management looked at salary costs the same way, and that led to this song.
One night I was seated in a lounge chair in my back yard when the thought ocurred to me. This is nice, but is this all there is? Is this the reason I work? Is this the reason I pay bills and worry about the future and make sure my kids do their…
The vodka, ahhh. One of 3 that I recorded to a dimming flashlight during a power outage.
One take into the Micro BR hole with some harmony and noodle overdubs.
Vodka
I want the vodka
'Cause I know it's gonna make me play better…
Thanks for your kind comments on my RPM effort. Love this tune, nice guitar work on this (and Bodybag) but I especially like the lazy, atmospheric vocal. Nice one
Lyrics by Brian McCloskey in somewhat of a suprise collab. Musically a kind of feel-good soul-pop. I quite like how this turned out, and nominated it my prefered RPM-track this year.
New version uploaded 12 Dec 2010.
Part 2 - Courtroom and Sentencing.
Courtroom.
In which Angela cross examines the accused and his accomplice.
Sentencing.
In which Judgement is passed.
Call the first witness
Make you take the stand
Raise up your right hand…
This is from our album, "When I Was Your Age," recorded entirely in the month of February for our third year participating in the RPM Challenge. "When I Was Your Age" is a collection of 13 songs looking back at when we were kids.
this song was inspired from an ee cummings poem. it was composed for rpm 2009.
lyrics:
i'll tell you a dream i had once
up in the sky blue everything
flying away a kite on a string
i didn't have anything
i was cool you were warm…
I heard someone say to an undergraduate class, 'you're on your way to everywhere' and I loved that line. This is sort of a Beatle-esque tune. My friend Mike Levine stopped by while recording a showed me a new jig on the mandolin. I recorded…
this is the slightly sparkly version of my version of Moschell's "Boxes and Strings" from his 'Circus of Freaks and Fools' RPM Challenge CD. I recorded it as a video last night and redid it in the studio (unfinished sauna) today.

I really like your vocal harmonies and lyrics, and you're playing is really tight. Especially on this song -- I think I need an off switch too.
Listened to the whole rpm album. Nice hooky guitars laden throughout, rapid fire vocals. Great work.
