This song has been hobbling around half-written in my psyche for eons, and it took the RPM Challenge to finally finish it! Like many of my generation, my first peek into the world of women (and what they looked like under their clothes) was National…

Eclectic, provocative, cool, new, beautiful; a wonderful list. Love the rhythms in this one.

The only track on the album with vocals. Also the first song I wrote for the album. Inspired by Iron and Wine.

Very nice - great lyrics. Has a good 'Iron & Wine/Bonnie 'Prince Billy' feel to it.

started as a middle 8 to another rpm song but i liked it enough to give it its own song!! not that i needed the track count! ;-)

Beautiful instrumentation - it's very difficult to do without it sounding trite or cheesy, and you made it work perfectly.

It's like you channeled late 60s Cat Stevens and Donovan at the same time (and again I hear the beauty of the Kinks)!

I remember hearing this on the RPM player a little while ago and it really caught my attention. I love simple, elegant songs like this - so much more effective that huge, songs that drone on. Sounds like it could be a Ray Davies demo - and that's about as good as it gets! Thanks too for the kind words about my work.

Beat created for vocal collaborator Du Yun, mixed with a slowed-down Medieval recorder estampie. Created while dwelling in the suburban wilds of Cape Coral, Lee County, FL.

I didn't expect that beat to come in... a nice surprise. The whole piece develops and generates interest throughout.

This song was written and recorded for my 2009 RPM Challenge album "Relative Polyphonic Mutiny". I was watching a biography of Willie Nelson and so this was my attempt at something I thought he might do. I don't hate the song, but I freely admit…

This is my big production number from my 2009 RPM Challenge album "Relative Polyphonic Mutiny" that features Philly rapper Marvelous. It's a rockin uptempo affair that has a beat you can dance to.

first song "completed" for rpm 2009, needs a whole heap of work but would be happy if had to include as is. at least it's a start!!

Original working title was something like, "And after six years I finally understood why they sing in the streets here, and could go home." It's sort of about anonymity in the modern city. If that sounds pretentious, that's because it is.
