Here is a John Lee Hooker Song that Buck and I used to sing in Duluth. We were playing in a group called *"THE LARRYS"*
I love Bucks harmony on this!
I moved away a couple years ago, and Buck stopped by for a visit last Friday. As you can…
Hearing a John Lee Hooker covered on a banjo -- now THAT is different! Great job. Enjoyed the sounds and I had fun tapping to the groove. Sexy bass! The harmonica is a big, capital WOW! I've missed ya, man!

Psychedelic Folk. Ever meet that special someone in a laundromat? Ever do it on top the dryer? Either way, you’re sure to dig this clean groove. Compilation by Stephen L. Krell and Gene Eric Mann.
HEAR MY FINAL SONG
Most were drinkin', four were playin' cards
Two were dancin', one he played guitar
He was singin' how she broke his heart
Some were smokin', smoke rings filled the air
One was flirtin', playin' with her hair
He was…
Sad and sweet memories, Gene Eric Mann's last song.

My idea for the song was, what if life was a bar, and all 7.5 billion earthlings were group into just a handful of characters that could fit into a bar – what is everyone doing? What are they thinking?
Greg Connor added his amazing harp to the song. It really adds depth to it. I love Greg's playing on the song. Thanks so much, Greg! This is why Alonetone is great.

I count my blessings…
A BIG, BIG thank you to Wildgeas who took my simple acoustic guitar song and turned it into a beautiful work of art. Arrangements and Production done magnificently by Paul Lennon (Wildgeas). Also, special thank you to Bethan who put her sweet…
Uploaded just in time for the 2013 peak of the Perseid meteor showers of 2013, which I definitely won't see, as our autumnal "maritime" (i.e. sh**ty) climate is doing its thing.
This is my arrangement of a wonderful romantic tune by the inimitable…
I came over to find your "horse meat" song. I can't find it, but I'm finding all these other gems that I completely forgot about.
You made my day Robert! Now I'm inspired!
The wonderful MN songwriters helped take a bite out of the January cold on Tuesday night this week and added some amazing depth to Singing in the Silence - We were as usual, recording on a little TASCAM around my coffee table. We had lots of…
We got together again around the coffee table and the gang helped me record this song I wrote this week.

Nothing beats when the MN songwriters convene. Greg and Colin sure brought some awesome sound to this song at the coffee table to improve the version that I recorded myself earlier this month. It's what I call a TOTAL MAKEOVER.
Thanks guys…
Recorded this one as a test track to sync with the video I shot for it. I am not happy with the computer virtual amp guitar sound on this. I will re-record this and mic my amp for that real cranked 100 watt tube sound.

Ok, before I go any further, I need to thank Alonetoner Greg Connor. He proposed a song-writing challenge around the theme of "Who Knew" in early/mid December. Many musicians here in the Alonetone community wrote some amazing songs around this…
Well ... I tried to log in on my iPhone and learned that I am only a guest. Rita and I listened to *"Taking Back What's Mine"* over a Bluetooth speaker in the living room this morning and as I said in the previous "Guest" message, lots of emotion and imagery!
I'm impressed with your guitar playing and the tone from your new guitar too. Very nice!
