Impossibly simple tune comprising only two-fingered chords, aka the McCartney challenge. Conceived and recorded in an hour between two grueling sessions of hedge-clipping the massive (16ft tall, 35ft long) privet hedge in my backyard. I think…
My second entry for Beatlesfest II at Songcrafters. This is a cover from the John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band album.
Dueling novachords help tell the story of a world where the future may not be so bright...
Thanks for listening.
Oh my God Cuth , this is my most favourite Lennon song of all time , I'm going to download this and sing with you tonight , totally the best cover ever

Thanks Andrew - I did have a great platform (the original song itself) to build upon. It has some personal meaning for me, too...and so I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks everybody! This was a fun little song to do, and I'm very pleased with the reception it's received so far.
@Sister Savage: Thanks - I think I just may turn this into a 'proper' song. Hopefully, I can keep the immediacy!
The Crystal City Aviators are:
Tristan Haze - guitar, vocals
Nathan Clinen - bass
Direz - drums
The White Weapons EP was recorded by Josh Gorman at Vienna Studios, Sydney, in 2010.
I also recorded this once through on the Martin and Zoom H-2 yesterday as well. One day I'll do a decent version of this, I promise. For now this is my modest Happy B-day to John.

Bought a new bass guitar and wanted to try it out, so made this last night. Gotta say the bass parts were easy, the guitar took ages to get right though. Now my fingers are sore.
Wellll it's not really a mystery, it's a little Beatles remixing!! I've basically just mashed together Octopus's Garden and All My Lovin'.
Hope you like it!
toooons of fun makin it :)
Brings a tear to my eye when I'm chopping onions! ;)
Seriously, one of my henwrench faves - popping bass, solid ukes, and rocking guitar, topped off with some massive triangle. Somehow, there's I get a really strong glam-rock vibe from this - and that's good!
Written by Holdempok. This song features:
Holdempok - Rhythm guitar and vocals
Myself - lead guitar
Chad 'The Rock' - Bass
Tod - Drums
We had this song hanging around a while without drums...so I uploaded to SongCrafters a while back, and asked…

soothing and wonderful. I could almost see it.
Thanks The Old Grey Wolf Ltd Co. for your nice comment...I tried to mix it up a bit!

Great hard rock sound - this is solid!
Thanks, fellas!
Love it, Rob - well done, and everything sounds so crisp. Those Mellotron flutes are perfect!
I like your spare take on this!
There's quite a journey to be had here - what a cool feel from the slide guitar!
One of my favorites. Really enjoyed working with you on this, Trevor!
Nice soothing music, Neil - well done!
Immaculate! Great vox, the new bass sounds really terrific, and you've nailed the guitar and bass line just as I remember them.
Thanks y'all! :) I want to do more with the Novachord...
This is how it's done, good sir - an excellent cover. Your vocals are outta sight!
Very soulful vocals - great combo with your acoustic guitar! And hey, I used to work in Tewksbury!
Bouncy cover! I dig the acapella start, and that mean scorching lead guitar.
Nice! I didn't find the mystery, but I did find some very nice harmonies and an artful mix of late & early Beatles songs.
What a great collab! Love the guitar and vox - very poignant. Take a bow, fellas.

Strumtastic! This is classic Gritter, and my new favorite!
Whoa, big sound on this LG! Love the West Coast psychedelic feel to it.
Thanks, all! @the Bright Carvings: no, although Stephen King and I are both Maine residents. :)
