Well, hot summer night. Beautiful woman dancing in the moonlight, (the goddesses knew what they were doing, a man doesn't stand a chance against this), knees going weak.... hearts' pounding...head spinning = new song. (Love was already there…

You live long enough... you take some real hits. And the only way to get on, is, to, "Pick myself up, walk down the long long road". Lifes real easy when it's all theoretical, but it's never been lived until the theories and philosophies are trashed…

Steve and I on a Sunday afternoon jam. haven't changed it a lick. Minimally processed it. I liked the openess of it, so I left it alone. Went to Crater Lake, and found this songs home. Played it to the stars the moon and the waters, as the moon…

"Where Does the sun go when the sun goes down?"
My friend...
This is the single most beutiful song I have heard in a good long time.....
Your heart speaks...
Thats what makes this so special.
Peace
T (OsCKilO)
This recording has been through hell, pretty much like I was when I wrote this: It was recorded written and played by me, on a fostex four track. At the time even true love had let me down, and decided its dreams "for" me were more important than…

What can I say? well, thanks for the comments! It still amzes me that my solitary style (when the whole song is me myself and I) makes it over to you all. And that you "get" what I try to do in the arranging, that it's ok to emphasize the mood…

The flute on this piece is done by a very gifted flute player by the name of Melinda Eckels. You will hear Melinda on any of the songs where I use flute. Her abilities have spoiled me so, that I can never use keyboard or my limited flute skills…
I do three things after waking up these days: I shower. I make coffee. I play this song and drink my coffee.
Nothing complicated. Nothing fancy. Just some basic fingerpicking to test my motor skills and bring some aural sunshine into my day.
The first version.
This is the first and only song I wrote on [arrsuarez](http://alonetone.com/arrsuarez)'s Christmas gift to me, a mbira that he lovingly crafted by hand.

For my friend and coworker, because he certainly deserves it.
This song is friends with [song for themcgruff](http://alonetone.com/sudara/tracks/song-for-themcgruff)
Several years ago I had a short lived duo with an oboe and English horn player named Nat. This is a demo from that period. It's an old old chord progression of mine that never really had a melody and Nat improvised this melody in the studio to…
Ok, everybody. I hope you can hang in there on this one. Yes it's longer. This is the fruit of Steve and my's first collaboration. He'd heard me do this at a party, got in touch with me, and said, "I'd like to collaborate on this, if you're okay…
I stumbled here from another artists' site. Suddenly I feel blind. You see hear and feel things new to me, or at least in a new way. Make me world fresh. Think I'll go for a long walk in the night, listen with the new ears you've given me.
Time never ends.... but we do.... ah there is the rub, for those of us who've tasted mortality, and the knowledge that all the dues eventually get paid , get called in.
Anything that has the title, "Desert Sunset", has me right away. I miss them deeply. The music delivers what the title suggests. I will be returning to listen, repeadtedly. On, the song you commented on "This Strange Parade", you were right, it was over 40mbs, perhaps that's why the music was cut off at the end, and the chorus just goes for a stroll naked, so to speak- it was just cut at 40mb's. Thanks for your knid comments by the way. Dan Gipson
Hey, OSCKILO! You were Johnny on th espot on This Strange Parade! I hadn't even finished saying how unfinished it was. Thanks for the comments, on it and all the others. Now, as to this song. Just what I needed to help me get through this world when all I want to do is play. It's beautiful. Thanks
A little something I recorded on a Zoom H4n, acoustic was recorded from built in condensors, strat was recorded plugged into bottom jack using only onboard effects, mixed in Reaper and mastered in Soundforge.
just goes to show: it ain't the equipment, it's the artist. you came through in this, probably could come through with an old cigar box with a stick through it, and four strings. You made this dance.
I've ben away from most of ya, and I'm sorry for that. Thing's have slowed down, and I can't wait
to hear everyone's new music, to try and be an artist, a full time employee and ect....it can be
awfully frustrating. I can't wait to listen and…
