So I dropped the guitar into DADGAD tuning for the first time, threw a capo on the third fret, rifled off something nice, and sent it to Movement to Contact for his contribution, got it back, did some mixing...
Here is the result.

A slightly destructive children's song... But I suspect that many of you have tried some of the things mentioned.
I have a great idea up in my head
Let's try it out this afternoon
We'll tie the dog up to the sled
Pretend we're launching…
My wife woke up one morning and said "I had a dream about (someone we'd just lost) the other night." When I asked her if she was okay, she replied, "Yeah, it was good to see her again."

The next step in the progression of this song... It still needs quite a bit of cleanup (and some extra arranging), but it's getting there.
Hey, everyone writes songs about falling in love (which for me was, like, seventeen years ago), so I thought…

So Jim of "Movement to Contact" asked me a couple of weeks ago to send him something...
I had no idea how ridiculously good the final result would come out.
KL: Vocals, lyrics, left side rhythm guitar and picking
MTC: Lead guitar, bass…
Tharek sent me this beautifully played guitar arrangement and told me to have at it with the spirit of Christmas, so I wrote and recorded this little message of hope and peace. Somehow when I write music with and for fellow musicians across the…

Love it! I may need to start grabbing some of Norm's outstanding percussion tracks and lay down some guitar... Although it will never be as smooth as this one by Kavin!

Thanks, Kavin! Jim really did a fantastic job of running with the song much the way you did so perfectly with "Bandit"...
The playlist pic is from Mary's Lake (I think that's the name of it) just outside Rocky Mountain National Park.... Which, by the way, is where the playlist cover for "The Trail" is from as well.
For our beautiful son Willem, in French Guillaume.
recorded in my livingroom, 16-7-2009.
I called the song Guillaume before because of the beautiful sound.
Since 2012 I changed the title of the song into : Willem.
Because that makes much…
Is it incomplete? Yes... Does it need a whole lot of cleaning up? Yes... Are there lyrics? Yes... Does it need more arrangement? Yes (but that's coming with a little collaboration on the way)... So, yes the title is the actual title to…
This is probably the last of this stuff from the archives that I'll upload. Rescued from a cassette tape of a live performance with former band mates in Scartaglen. These tunes are popular down in the Southwest of Ireland. Michael(Fiddle) and…
Drive cleaning time!!
Found this arrangement left over from RPM. The drum track was already mixed from my old kit. I cut it and mashed it up trying to fix it when I mix it.
Then I added some vintage synth sounds, some guitars, and some reptilian…
Since Norm found himself in an acoustically great room, full of unfinished cabinets I couldn't help but add some acoustic guitar, crank it up and hope you like it Norm!
Ah, yes, this is EXCELLENT... I listened to this (and faved it) a while back. Every bit as majestic (and very folk-Zeppelin in all the best ways imaginable)... Just a terrific track, my friend.
I did this live performance at the Shore 104.3 radio station yesterday (Aug.25'10) directly after singing this song in the vancouver PNE talent contest and winning first prize! hope you like it!
Check out the video of the PNE performance!
Hey, man... congrats on this! I may not be able to write the greatest songs, but I sure as hell know when I hear one! I knew this little song of yours was the real thing, and I'm glad the rest of the world is finally catching up! Kick some ass at Berkley... And whatever you do, don't let them teach the soul out of you!
I used to blast this song so loudly in my little room - when that chorus hits, and that huge tidal wave of guitars, it is just breathtaking. And there is nothing I can say about the voice and aura of Armando Louder that hasn't already been said.
Great sound! Sadly, while I can't understand the lyrics, I can appreciate the melody, sincerity of the vocals, and power of this beautiful song. Well done, my friend.

...And this one might be the best of the bunch. Damn, so good!
Just outstanding!
Wow, this stuff is outstanding! I am truly envious of your guitar skills!
Billy, This is terrific stuff! I hope you take another shot at RPM this year.
Oooooh.... Now this is nice.

Just back again to listen to this masterpiece!
"Little Ditty in the Works" in it's next stage of evolution!
Fantastic stuff, Kirk... I agree with Tess and Launched... Please upload as much of this stuff as you can!
Great track from the first instant... Faved within ten seconds!
Very nice, Kavin... Damn, such a great sound!
Very nice track, Colin... Well written, well performed, well arranged, and as always so well sung... and beautiful harmonies, Tess.
Well, as night sets in on another great labor day, I just thought I'd bring this ode to the end of summer back into view. Enjoy!
Wow... Great vocals, Emily.
Very nicely done... The perfect addition to Norm's outstanding use of cabinetry. Great job, Rick!

Fave'd at the ten-second mark. Again, great sound, terrific opening sea birds into a full, powerful, beautiful sound... Again, well done!
