As slowly I recall
These letters sent to you
As all things come to pass
I anticipate that I'll leave
This world for a new
Waiting for the letters that you'll send
Civil War
At 300 strong
Into the heart of Dixie we roam
We might be…
Oh, nice rhythms happening here.
1:00 mark... heck yes, man. very tasteful indeed.
I keep thinking, "this is my favourite track so far," until the next track starts. These songs are in the perfect order. This album really grows and unfolds and gets thicker and wider and ...
what is happening at the 2:30 mark? That's bloody awesome man. I didn't see that coming. Too good.
YES! That is a really great, looming, oppressive bass line.
Excellent use of winding and interweaving guitar parts, cycling between the wah and clean bits.
The 2:30 mark is great. Really intense. The way that part rolls on until the release at 3:00 is perfect.
Love the way the drums roll in at the :50something mark.
This builds really nicely. Great backward bits too.
Yeah. That's a very nicely laid out piece of music, right there. Excellent come down. That acoustic foundation lick is really infectious.
Straight ahead stone city electric blues for an old friend who used to spend hours spinning BB King and Mike Bloomfield records for me. Recorded back sometime at the end of 2006 on old analog equipment

It's been tough to keep up lately, hope everyone is well.
Something I was working on as part of a larger project. When it's done I'll link it.
I extended my very short Halloween piece - doubled it in length - not too hard considering it still is only a minute long.
This is using the Garritan Personal Orchestra sample set.
2 organs, piano, flute, bassoon.
Out on the lawn there arose such a clatter!
Sometimes, as they say, Christmas do come early. I found Johnny Stone's "Christmas Rock In Oz" under the tree and couldn't wait until Yuletide to unwrap it. What a rockin' gift! I know a bit about…

Experimenting with asynchronous, layered picking. I thought it would sound really cool. Guess what? It doesn't! ... Well, all of the mistakes aside ... it's growing on me.
This is a rough mix of a track I did with the one & only Norm Harris. I've got some vocals in mind, but it may take some time to put it together, so meanwhile here's the instrumental version. Big thanks & major props to Norm…
Composed all in one sitting at about 4am in January 08 when I was feeling particularly horrible about a breakup. This one has a video I filmed (mostly on the campus of George Mason University in Fairfax, VA) while walking a few miles at night…
Thanks for the listen acid....one of these days when i get some time, i need to come check out more of your stuff, i liked what i have heard so far.; )
This is the final scene of "The Lost Child," my big work for flute/actor/percussion/electronics. In this scene the protagonist/wild woman Ana realizes she will be outed as a fraud, and so takes her own life.
flute, me; voice, Benjamin Pierce;…
13 minutes! Fail! I recommend you augment your self a bit (with a glass or three of red wine or whatever floats your boat) and dim the lights, lay on the floor with your eyes closed where you can feel the bass rumble and get ready to be my passenger…
Got the 24 hr challenge done finally....ugh...at 19 hours in i crashed...it needed more work, hiss here and there...but it is what it is. ;)Used the bass preamp liked we talked about, it did make a WORLD of difference. Thanks for the tip!
In Argentina they say "in Argentina everything may change - except the tango", but I couldn't resist adding some percussion to this beautiful nuevo tango by Vincent Voois, composed in the style of Astor Pantaleon Piazzolla.
Check out Vincent…
Last one for today, promise. Two Old Friends - again from 1983 and created using 2 cassette decks,4 channel mixer, Fender Mustang, vocals. Lyrics by Evan Harrington.

Very cool.
Wicked good drums skills and good song choice to match them...
Hell yes....Cudos to both of ya. we need a fav'd and fav'd again button...
Actually i like the picking. I like something that is a little different from the noraml style. Dig the song, and did not even notice the mistakes.
Thanks ;) For as simple as that riff is, it sure gets stuck in the head...
;)
*laughing so hard it's hard to type @norm's comment*....That is one crazy picture you got on your profile bud. Is that your dog?
thanks xeno, i was way tired and rushed on the mix....i might have to go back and fix some of the levels....

Very smooth beat.
