Another one pulled from the archive...I was really into soundtrack scoring when I was making this track. Headphones advised for full range on this one…
I wish my CD players in the vehicles worked so I could listen to your stuff in wav format when I drive..time to get new CD players I guess! Great song.

I love the fill at 1:40 that sounds like it should build into a nice hard vibrato Kim Thayil solo. The bridge that kicks in at 2:16 is an excellent addition to a solid theme. My only gripe is the crash being panned hard left. I think it either needs less extreme panning or some reverb panned half way to the right to help balance its place in the mix.

The Flying Bear features a nice fusion of funk and rock that leaves the listener both satisfied and excited. An experimental vibe is very prominent during the song's bridge, and the entire song can be rooted back to Soulstice Music's Red Hot Chili…
Another one rebuilt after my freak SD card initialization fiasco. The excellent solo work was done by my buddy Gnasty - I love it!
This is the second part of a two part song. I'll get the other part up next hopefully.

Well, I realized while listening to so many other great rough cuts and demos (and how much I enjoyed listening to them), that it was about time I contributed to the process. Rather than posting only completed songs, I decided to put up the rough…
A song about falling asleep on the couch, so there is no mystery to it! But the loose change is in the cushions, lights and tv are on, and the oven has been set to 350 for several hours :)
One vocal & acoustic take with a harmony and noodle…

Spontaneous little ditty about carelessness and always staying on the move. Quite different from the murky, depressing trite I always seem to end up composing.
This started out as a loose solo guitar jam around a simple chord sequence, and…
Not to start a George tribute, but here's a cover I did with Facemask93 that I really love. All I did was bass, backing vox and the drum pattern arrangement - I did feel a little like a dope trying to sing along with Rob's amazing voice, but will…
Glad you liked it. I'm working up something nice for the stuff you sent.
I'm super stoked on this track with Alister. I've been listeneing to it for days. I had a feeling our styles would blend, but i did not realize they would fit so well. Around the six minute mark i just trip out. I was listeneing to it in the headphones....."to lound" and right where it really takes-off it just gets my head spinning. I guess in a way, with how much i have had to struggle with my job, and put music to the side, it reminded me that music is my life. It keeps my soul alive, and without the passion for it my life would run cold. All respect the the "the golden ear" of Alister for the final mix of this piece which is perefect.
Anyway i've had far to mush to drink tonight and will cut it short.Jam on it!
Yeah soooo this is a rather bizarre sound documentary of my room/apartment. All sounds were recorded there, including: belching, a toy duck call, a cup falling, various toys that make noise, a friend playing Pokemon on their DS, friends talking…

A prototype. I recorded the banjo parts myself and the rest is all arranged in Logic. The mandolin that comes in halfway through is a chopped up loop until I can find a mandolin to record my own solo.

mm this is fantastic :)
Dude. Soooooo good.
Awesome!
This is a fabulous foundation for a rocking tune. I'm trying to figure out what vocal style would fit, though. I'm thinking Layne Staley.
That double kick is insane!! The break at 2:11 is a nice touch, especially where it builds at 2:27.
Fantastic jam :)

Wow....
I'm getting that Soundgarden vibe again :) Great jam.
