This demo recording turned out particularly well, especially when compared to how most of my MYTHOPOETICA recordings sound. The lead guitar employs an Eastern Folk scale and style of picking, greased with GEM-style Blues butter.
SUPER YOU…

Psychedelic Folk. Ever meet that special someone in a laundromat? Ever do it on top the dryer? Either way, you’re sure to dig this clean groove. Compilation by Stephen L. Krell and Gene Eric Mann.
One of my favorite recordings and favorite songs. The drums of this Political Folk tune was generated with the Yamaha E313. The lead guitar break needs replaced with a violin, but…
THE FINAL HOUR
Welcome to the final hour
Everybody kneel…
Another Psychedelic Sea Shanty. This one follows a Fox Trot beat. I didn’t have a mic screen when I recorded the vocal tracks – my voice is piercing at moments. Hope you are nonetheless able to enjoy the mix-down. Pan flute by Starry Nightmoth…
This song is really intriguing. A who done it sort of tale. I love the line that Poor Old Admiral Smith....he's not with! Really make a person try to hear the lyrics that follow just to find out exactly what went down! Amazing how so much of a story forms by the end!
A Sea Shanty with a bit of Psychedelic seasoning. Guest artist Starry Nightmoth performs the “harmonica” on a Yamaha KB as the song fades out.
37 SAILS
Thirty-seven sails be a full rigged ship
Open up ye hatch and pour ye spirit down…
Really cool song! The theme and melody are really memorable. The riff with the fife/synth is really cool. I like the other synth sounds too. Like seagulls circling a ship at points! Also the strumming is really rich and full! Great way to start the day!

One of my better Psych Folk recordings. Intro voice and keyboards by Starry Nightmoth. BG rhythm/drums generated using a Yamaha E313 KB. Lyrics, music and all other instruments and vocals are my fault.

Not an overall bad recording, and I’m quite pleased with the lyrics of this Psychedelic Folk tune.
FUTURE BOUND
Should I take the left or should I pass it by zoom?
Lost my faith in maps, so how will I decide zoom?
Spirits crying to be…
Thanks for your kind comments! I've been listening through your stuff, I'm amazed with how much material you have, you seem to pull riffs out of thin air! Good use of sound fx for storytelling :)
JUMPSUIT BLUES
As I slept this morning,
I dreamed of what you said
How you said you loved me,
And from my toes to head
Then I woke to Chow Call,
Prison walls around my bed
‘Morning to you, Jesus!
How did you sleep last night…

Crumbs - this is good... Listening on headphones, wondering whether I've been drinking or not.
Started out as very relaxing - slightly disturbing after a while! lol
The thunder and rain came as a welcome release of the tension.
Really well put together.
I had such a blast in the day with 4-track recording, but no way I'd go back to that way of doing things. But y'all did a great job with this number. That's some mighty sweet picking!
Inspired by Last Week's Winter Storm where the only people out driving around in it were the people trying to prove Darwin's theory of Natural Selection.
Vocal addition by Colleen Dillon. Colleen also suggested the topic *"Winter Tune…
Y'ALL'S VOICES BLEND BEAUTIFULLY TOGETHER! Really nice mixing/mastering job! Your vocal delivery, Greg, is particularly well done in this one. Sweet lyrics, and the guitar part was executed quite sweetly too.
Michelle is on her way to being a Rock Star Diva!!! REALLY -- she has a great voice, she's on key, she's got range, hitting the lows and highs. Rock on, y'all -- ROCK ON!
Avant Green exp music, inspired by Flying Lizards.
Music Maker MX, Akai Mini, Audacity, Toxic Biohazard, and MS synth voice. Some of the above or all of the above, used to make this musyka I don't remember. It's too cold here to use that part…
Groovy rift. Interesting experiment! The rift works with every sample, all the way through the whole minute of this. It suggests to me that you should go ahead and evolve this into something more developed. I believe it would be received warmly.

This version was an effort to make it into a country song... an "effort."

Goodbye, Gene. Thanks for all the listens and constructive comments.
Working my way back on your music catalog. this is fantastic. trippy washed guitars and the lyrics are spot on.
Nice twist on the Beatles classic... very interesting. I like it!
Clever! I think a lot of work went into this one. Thanks for your comment on my song. Paul
I woke up thinking about this song. I had to come and take another listen. It's the only *WASHING MACHINE* song I know of.
Outputy! loving this..
Just discovered this one in the mix.... wow!!!! What a beautiful song and amazing arrangement.

Strange...in a good way. Some mid PF studio output work right there.

I'm totally digging this! It reminds me of old Barrett-era Pink Floyd.
Yup... I'm a sucker for Eastern influence :)

Groovy! Sweet.

Good strumming technique. Nice vocals. Good delivery. Keep it real!
Meditative. Hypnotic. Intriguing. I dig the exploration. Cosmic!
Y'all sound great. The two of you make a fabulous team. Mixed and mastered with mindful taste -- ROCK ON!
Michelle is on her way to being a Rock Star Diva!!! REALLY -- she has a great voice, she's on key, she's got range, hitting the lows and highs. Rock on, y'all -- ROCK ON!
The new synth sounds good!
This was a fun listen. Groovy! I dig it. The beat, effects, voice -- all of it far out! ROCK ON!
1 second of music per minute of work isn't bad, actually. I'll keep an ear open to hear if you develop this into something more.

I like it! Cool vibe! Hypnotic!
Oh, and BTW, nice slide job!
Serious, timely lyrics. Hate, ignorance and fear must not win the day. Rock on, brother!
Oh cool! Great job! You're a multi-genre artist, and have mastered the Island groove among others!
I really dig your alternative, acoustic grunge rendition of this classic number. Cool vocals and echo effects. Very groovy -- ROCK ON!
Out of the box music. More like out of the box, torch the box, and leap several yards away from what was the box. And I enjoyed all 4:40 of it!
An interesting progression of chords. Good lyrics. Nice vocal mix.
Neat effects. Sweet picking. Groovy bass.
Love the jazzy feel and subtlety.
