This demo recording turned out particularly well, especially when compared to how most of my MYTHOPOETICA recordings sound. The lead guitar employs an Eastern Folk scale and style of picking, greased with GEM-style Blues butter.
SUPER YOU…

Psychedelic Folk. Ever meet that special someone in a laundromat? Ever do it on top the dryer? Either way, you’re sure to dig this clean groove. Compilation by Stephen L. Krell and Gene Eric Mann.
One of my favorite recordings and favorite songs. The drums of this Political Folk tune was generated with the Yamaha E313. The lead guitar break needs replaced with a violin, but…
THE FINAL HOUR
Welcome to the final hour
Everybody kneel…
Another Psychedelic Sea Shanty. This one follows a Fox Trot beat. I didn’t have a mic screen when I recorded the vocal tracks – my voice is piercing at moments. Hope you are nonetheless able to enjoy the mix-down. Pan flute by Starry Nightmoth…
This song is really intriguing. A who done it sort of tale. I love the line that Poor Old Admiral Smith....he's not with! Really make a person try to hear the lyrics that follow just to find out exactly what went down! Amazing how so much of a story forms by the end!
A Sea Shanty with a bit of Psychedelic seasoning. Guest artist Starry Nightmoth performs the “harmonica” on a Yamaha KB as the song fades out.
37 SAILS

Really cool song! The theme and melody are really memorable. The riff with the fife/synth is really cool. I like the other synth sounds too. Like seagulls circling a ship at points! Also the strumming is really rich and full! Great way to start the day!

One of my better Psych Folk recordings. Intro voice and keyboards by Starry Nightmoth. BG rhythm/drums generated using a Yamaha E313 KB. Lyrics, music and all other instruments and vocals are my fault.

Not an overall bad recording, and I’m quite pleased with the lyrics of this Psychedelic Folk tune.
FUTURE BOUND
Should I take the left or should I pass it by zoom?
Lost my faith in maps, so how will I decide zoom?

Thanks for your kind comments! I've been listening through your stuff, I'm amazed with how much material you have, you seem to pull riffs out of thin air! Good use of sound fx for storytelling :)
JUMPSUIT BLUES
As I slept this morning,
I dreamed of what you said
How you said you loved me,
And from my toes to head
Then I woke to Chow Call,
Prison walls around my bed
‘Morning to you, Jesus!
How did you sleep last night…

Crumbs - this is good... Listening on headphones, wondering whether I've been drinking or not.
Started out as very relaxing - slightly disturbing after a while! lol
The thunder and rain came as a welcome release of the tension.
Really well put together.
Damn it boy! There just may be as many as 5 other people on this planet of 7 billion that can keep up with you on guitar. You should be rich and famous. I'm just blown.
Excellent performance by Gene on programmed drums, rhythm guitar and bass, with Farrell on lead guitar. I'm on vocals. Hope you enjoy us on this old Zep Classic................
In an online course on Einstein's miracle year of 1905 we had to do a creative project and I was going to submit this but never did. Hope you think it's funny.
I'm blown! You are one of the most awesome guitarists I've ever heard. What are you doing here, posting your music for free? You should be performing on stage before tens of thousands every night!
Reg Les and the TC Helicon Voice-live Trio.....Hope you enjoy...

I thought I was listening to Alice Cooper and the Coopertones jamming with Marilyn Manson and his band. Very professionally mixed -- great quality and tastefully compiled. You Rocked my day -- Rock on!
You know, you could write and record a bad song now and then, just to make us half-ass songwriters feel better about our own flops, but noooooo, you gotta nail it each and every time. Another Connor classic! Rock on!
There's a definite degree of a Bob Dylan element in this one. I like the flavor, the lyrics, the energy. You remain one of my very favorite Folk songwriter!
This was written at the same time as Laughing. The plan was to try writing songs that I could sing while playing the guitar. I think I played my first bedroom recording of this (with me playing my brother's drums, gasp!) to Mike the bass player…
So, fast forwarding to one of my most recent tracks--with guitar, flute, bass and percussion. 9 years doing this and my style remains the same, layering of instruments around a melody. I hope you dig it
I was going to release my songs in chronological order but decided to skip around instead. This one is a piece that revolves around a piano melody and adds percussion, organ, and mechanical beats. I had fun with this one and I hope you will find…
What an intriguing melody! You are very good at painting with sound -- very professional. You're a gifted weaver of music -- you must indeed have a fascinating mind!
I wanted to start by posting my very first track, which I composed on FL Studio, several years ago. Being my first track, it is not my best production- wise, yet it still embodies my main style on the tracks that follow - which is intense buildup…
A fine composition, an interesting melody, all done with taste and good musical sense. Digging the build up and graceful mixing and mastering job. Looking forward to hearing more from you! Rock on!
Oooh how groovy! The arrangement of chords, the hypnotic bass, the psychedelic vocals... what's not to like about this number? Excellent job -- Rock on!
