I electrified my psaltery and played it in various ways in an tuning adjusted by ear. Probably some JI of some type then. I played along with some modified drum loops and ran it through effects of course.

As the title says I spent some time with my 17 et guitar. I purposefully tried doing non-12 sounding stuff with what I think is moderate success. I believe I will have to resort to some "dots" to get some new scales in 17 et down - there just…

Another routine Vaisvil piece. Oh, and by routine I mean:
Hang drums.
Ebow.
17 note octaves.
Fretless bass.
Outrageous prose that is difficult to logically follow.
Exploding fish.
Norm set me these drums for Dancing on my own a while back but Reg went and dumped the file so we couldn't use them. So i'm using them now, while Reg gets Gone.........Thanks Norm
Chris sent this track to me earlier today with the request that I add some percussion to it.
I had something different in mind.
After the first take I was afraid to return it to him, fearing that he would convert it to 23 edo or something…
I heard this as I let the IF playlist roll doing other things - this is really great! I love the very classic slide sound you have here and the piece is very bluesy cool.
Reg has this recurring dream of his fantasy women but she is always out of reach...........Thanks to Tess for letting me play with her tune.

ohhh I didn't see you had uploaded this! To answer your question - it was a Yamaha - can't remember the model - it had 3 pedals - I agree about the low end but the high end was really weak in my opinion.
Added a little more to this nice little change of strumming patterns played as an excuse to write a little love song.

finally got to hear this. there is a distinct didgeridoo sound to it, especially when you start. I wonder what would happened if you bowed the string. - and - how did you pull the wire out of a tire - I want to do that.
Lyrics:
======
I hate you when you breathe. Could you stop?
Waking up is hard to do when sleep never comes
But your ugly faces woke me up...
Callous sycophants
I know you too well to rest again
I'll stay up forever. I'll be ready

Comments on vaisvil's stuff
Am completely behind on my listens, but could hear Bethan playing this and had to know what it was - very compelling!
mid section took me off balance man! trippy guitars..right on!
like the low-fi intro...very sharp observation and tight percussion skills here.
Very cool experimental piece!
evoking
Ha, sounds like a challenge. Yep, it was! I love that drum beating, conjours up the idea of Roman Warships.
s'quite a journey that.. a tense but strangely enjoyable one.. certainly never gets dull!
Nice atmosphere and detail here. Fitting title, lone contemplation...
Dramatic elements, somewhat formal/conceptual result.

Wonderful collab.
Powerful stuff indeed. You captured the flavour perfectly.
Ooh, eerie!!
Thought-provoking melodies here. Very contemplative sounds.
these low notes are very powerful, when they match the gong that is just,, wait did you put the gong thru effects as well?
Excellent work and as Norm says great story

You made it into a classical piece - I love that. Great work Richard!

wow. very powerful words and music.
this is excellent - and unique!
lovely Richard! Sounds light music for a candle light dinner.
thank you for the listen and comment on my seagull improv.
Reg - he did do something like that one day - and yes it was great!
and the excellence of the music should be overlooked too.
Reg - you are one heck of a story teller! Have you considered writing a novel or short story?
