Glad you noticed I was back again. :)
I can relate to this song. Makes me think of my Great Grandmother. She used to call family and friends on the phone...play a song on the harmonica, giggle...then hang up. lol.
You can hear the emotions in this. Great job man.
As for the submarines.. hehe. If a dude in New York can detect submarines...you better let homeland security know. hehe.
Hybrid analog/digital rock and roll. I'm trying out some new guitar FX and amp sims in Pro Tools.
They are not so bad all distorted and fuuzzzzed
up.
I tried to sing it, but hey, you know, I give it hell though right?
It's a Goddess of War…
Taking a breather from a few other projects and fired up some drum loops. 3 hip hop beats at 80 bpm. Funny how they just line up like that.
I added some 70's disco synth and some spooky sounds and Bingo.......spooky hip hop.
Go figure.....

Another one from my ambient crackpot series.
This features two instances of my new instrument the Novaphone 340 Imperial. A grand name for a grand instrument (Xylo just didn't do it justice).
The first Novaphone is playing three samples…
This was written during the challenge in february and was meant to be the title track. But I never really got time to develop it. I still like it though, so I thought I'd cut it rough, leave it undeveloped, and chuck it out there to see what you…
Sometime yesterday, sandbags posted "In the Ocean of Night".
Fuelled by a lovely walk and some pints, I was inspired to make some additions.
Technical/process details:
Guitar was my Michael Kelly going into GT-10 which had compressor, delay…
I did this weeks ago & then found it again last night as I was archiving old files. This is one of those one-off improv sessions... I recorded the rhythm guitar in one pass, then one "lead" pass and then one vocal pass, and done. Even the…
We forgot to mention that Reg visited Norm's place a little later and added some vocals. The video is a ride through the US state of Virginia. The Texas Tavern serves cheesy westerns (cheese, fried egg, burger, bun) in the downtown of Roanoke Va.

This is the first piece made with a Reaktor instrument I built today that I have called "Xylo".
Xylo is a sampler that plays a region of the sample back and forth with a 10s release time. Each note defines a region of a different length (but…
Well, screw the metronome, damn the torpedoes, and grab a capo!
Sometimes the best versions are the ones played fast and loose. Hope you enjoy this song adapted from one of my all-time favorite poems (I'm a bit biased since my dad wrote it…
Bob came down the cellar last night it had been a bit quite down there for a while so he hit this old classic by the doors and Regged it up a little.....we hope you like it

Real or imagined war for you? I'm glad you provided lyrics and that I read them before listening, because it brought the picture together. Quite good.
Sounds like a soundtrack for a really great point and click adventure game. Forgive me if that's bad to you.
Loops can be a lot of fun. Sounds like you experienced that first-hand with this track. :)

Supergroup!
Always a wonderful lesson in sound. Dramatic intro. It has that murder mystery feel to it. It was Mr. Bags in the Kitchen, with a knife.
Wild sounds.
I had a lot of fun jammin' on this tune. Now I want to see the live show :)
Commanding vocals Brian. I really dig the lead break too. Potent.
