Well, song 10 finally. A bit on the heavy side, some odd FX, strange vox, an Ibanez, The ever present harmonica, and some help from Illegal Alien Autopsy.
This was the first song I tracked for RPM. But, since my pen has run out of ink this month…
I guess I knew this would happen. Talk about creating one's own reality Sheeeeesh. End of the month and my pen has been re-fueled and I added some vox to this one, plus some lead guitar, and a bit of synth strings. I also took a shot at some…
Post RPM jammin'. I don't feel much like cleaning up after RPM. Not yet anyway. I think my little Casio took a beaten and went out of tune. I did this arrangement with just the Casio, guitars and
harmonica, hence the annoying piano and strings…

well I must say that I rather enjoy this one very much! i like how there space in the music. because somehow i think I should always be saying something. I worry more about my lyrics than the music when I write something. It was nice to listen to this. the music is a hook in and of itself!

I'm redoing this one even though I just re did it. With more content and absolutely redoing the vocals. Didn't like how they turned out as much as I wanted them too.
12 string improvisation - title came from a person who said I didn't understand "deep blues". That is probably true which is why I got the blues ;-(
Feel free to use this in something if you'd like - just post a link in the comments here so I…
I'm really thinking of renaming the upcoming "Burning Wood... The Bonfire Sessions" album "Stealing Genius." I write something simple, put down some picking at the beginning, some acoustic guitar and some vocals, and send it off to people with…
Johnny Stones fabulous tune was playing on the juke-box in the cellar last night and Robert got up to do his thing but Reg told him to step down and let him have a go.Reg took over proceedings and blew everyone away down the cellar with his take…
There was this biker bar called The 2500 Club. Just west of Sylvania on Belknap. On a sign outside it says, "The best little biker bar in Texas." Guthrie and Rick and I played there long enough to get to feeling pretty much like family.

Once upon a rainy day, we were out in the farm fields waiting on the sun to break through the gloom. We arrived in this dark world naked and were washed clean waiting for the sun. Little darling, here it comes...
I'm not on top of it as usual, guys. But I did manage to let Greg Brady out of my basement and set him free. This is his testimonial regarding the incident. I hope he can forgive me.

Hiding April is a programmatic electronic piece that uses the hardware Korg MS2000 and Absynth 5 software synthesizers and orchestra percussion from Garritan Personal Orchestra. At about 4:10 I found an aircraft-ish sound on my Korg which then…
I'm meeting an old Uni friend Saturday and I wrote this for her. My university years were quite possibly the darkest years of my life. Her, and the little comments she'd write in the margins of my lecture notes, were more important than she'll…
This is a piece using Garritan World Sample Set (Tibet singing bowls and Tibet bells) and pianoteq. It also uses a non-octave tuning that is an infinite stack of just major seconds (scala file below).

Another great one!
Glad you got refueled cause this is freaking awesome! I like the lead, but I'd definitely have a slower fade out at the end. It left me wanting MORE.
Dig the western feel of this one. Gonna have to see the movie again to get the full effect!
Great stuff Geas, I knew there was a bit of spaghetti western in you.
I dug this to the point where I might be in China by now!! Great harp and slide.
Wowie Zowie!!! I need to watch that again real soon. This tune does that scene all the justice imaginable. Nice zippo slides.
Definitely nailed the spaghetti western theme! Doesn't sound like it needs a bunch of cleanup. In fact, its pretty awesome as-is!
Darn, JS is always first. Sparkly, twinkly and yes, I get the music box reference! Very clever!
